“Very satisfied”
Excellent location with balcony overlooking promenade and sea just 100 feet away! Outdoor market on promenade every Thursday. Breakfast included; very adequate and can be taken on front patio. Luciano extremely helpful and friendly. He made our stay. For those driving, there is adequate metered parking in front of hotel. Hotel's back door exits into fabulous shopping area and arcade. Although we had a car, the train station is a 5 minute walk from hotel
“Great Home Base”
This is a 3-star hotel, but we loved it more than the 4-star hotels we stayed at during our trip in May. Our room was just as promised: view of the sea. Beautiful! There was even a balcony we could step out onto to watch all the people driving and walking by. It was a simple room, but extremely clean...had everything we needed...even enough (mismatched) hangers. The owner was so so friendly and welcoming. He pointed us toward his friend's restaurant (Da Mario) where we had our best (and not the most expensive) dinner of the trip (it's closed on Wednesdays). His staff was efficient and pleasant and personable too. The hotel is only a few block's walk from the train station. It's super central. A block away are a lovely wine and food store and the boat to Portofino. Two notes: The shower (good pressure, amazing shampoo that made my thin hair thick, beautiful towels) is small, so if you're heavier than chubby it's not going to be a comfy fit for you. And the seaside view might not be the best for light sleepers, as it the windows open out onto the street. We slept just fine, though. We highly recommend this hotel. Go and have a fabulous time!

“Best cappuccino”
This is a nice, friendly small hotel, perfectly positioned, with the old town streets at the rear and the sea in front. With its situation close to main promenade and thin bedroom walls, we feared disturbed nights, but our neighbours were quiet and all was well. The cost of the accommodation was high for the overall facilities, but was probably fair for the location. Breakfasts were of a higher standard than is typical in continental Europe, with a good choice of fresh fruit, bread and pastries, but more limited meat, cheese etc and sadly no freshly squeezed orange juice. The double strength cappuccini, individually made to suit our taste, were the best we had on the 9 day holiday! Overall, we would certainly be tempted to a return stay should we revisit Rapallo.

Great locaton, beatiful area, parking is challenging, room was comfortable and clean. staff was very friendly, nice breakfast. would return.
