I booked the hotel online not knowing exactly what to expect. I had read the hotel reviews prior to booking the Johnson & Whales and the reviews were all good. So, I booked the hotel based on that, the location, and the price. My husband and I weren't disappointed at all. The hotel was very neat and lean (always my #1 priority), peaceful, easy to get to, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was a treat. On this trip my husband and I were traveling to New Haven, CT and Newport, RI, so the hotel was a good location for us and fairly close to the Providence airport. A terriffic value for the money. I commend the hotel staff as well, they were very friendly and helpful. I especially give kudos to the cleaning staff, as we came back to our room each day the room was spotless. If I'm back in the area again I would definitely stay at the hotel again and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
“Almost perfect”
I'll make this short but sweet. Everything to checking in, to actually seeing my room was awesome, but the only complaint I had was that the flooring in the tub was raised and it was very uncomfortable and I was unable to enjoy my shower. I wouldn't have wanted to take a bath because I would have been terrified to sit on the floor of that tub. It was as if there was a huge air bubble under the flooring that wouldn't go down no matter what you did. The room itself was beautiful and the bed was comfortable. I didn't like the fact that room service was only available until 10pm but otherwise I enjoyed my stay. I would stay there again as long as they would give me a room with better bathroom facilities.

The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable.Halls were very quiet, so we got a good night's sleep. The restaurant is staffed by culinary students from Johnson & Wales, so the food and service were both outstanding!The elevator was located in the far corner of the building and was very small.

“A Gem of a Hotel”
My husband and I thought the hotel was well appointed and comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We alo enjoyed our dinner there at Audrey's restaurant. Our only complaint is in the construction of the hotel - the hallways are too narrow.
“Was Extremely Impressed”
The hotel was clean and very comfortable. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in! I received a USA today outside my door in the morning and the continental breakfast was one of the best I have ever seen. The staff was very friendly! I would not even think of staying anywhere else if I am in the area again.
“I will return....”
I found my stay at Johnson & Wales to be extremely comfortable, quiet and relaxing. The room was clean, nicely decorated and economical. I definitely plan to return when I return to the area. The staff were informative, pleasant and helpful. Definitely will reccommend the hotel to family and friends. No complaints, perfect
