“excellent hotel”
Wonderful stay at this hotel. Everyone was very pleasent and treated us like special guest. For my sisters birthday they arranged a section of the pool patio for our party and supplied us with paper plates and utensil, all as a courtesy. The front counter gave us directions to downtown sites and recommended restuarants were dinning was excellent. The hotel sits on a hill overlooking the beach and the city of Ponce and what a beautiful site. I recommend this hotel 100%.
“very nice hotel”
I had gone to the casino on prior trips but had not stayed there. This tine I did and ws very satisfied. You can;t beat the view from the pool or the bar. Breakfast was very good at yhe restaurant. Will stay there again the next time.

We enjoyed the hotel very much. Very pretty setting with our balcony overlooking the Caribbean Sea. I don't speak much Spanish but had no problem communicating with everyone. A couple of the front desk employees spoke better English than me! The restaurant had very good food although a rather limited menu. Everyone was very nice and exceptionallly friendly. We did not go into the casino as we're not gamblers. The hotel is very convenient to Ponce and it's easy to get to any other part of the island. We would highly recommend Ponce Playa as a place to visit. It's not a good beach for swimming but the boardwalk is a great place. We bought some sardines and fed the tarpon. We had the best meal of our vacation at a little place on the boardwalk; inexpensive, too!
“it was a great hotel a nice time was had by all”
the only critique was that when you order a room they should tell you the different types of amenities that go with a double beds vs king bed, like if you get a king bed you could also get a microwave and refrigerator. as opposed to getting a double beds and only getting a refrigerator. but otherwise, it was a great hotel and comfortable.

We only stayed one night. The room was very clean with a great view. The food at the restaurant was good and reasonably priced. We had no problem finding a place to park.

Holiday Inn Ponce & El Tropical Casino was a very pleasant stay. The hotel front desk staff was very pleasant, the room was very comfortable, clean and spacious, I had my two children with me. Our dining experience was also very good, breakfast on a Saturday morning was quite reasonable and the buffet offered a nice variety of hot food including fresh fruit and pastries. The swimming pool was very clean and I would definitely stay again at this property again.

Excellent service, very nice people and great facilities. The room was perfect, great ocean and pool view. It was a great experience.

Very nice hotel. My wife was impressed by the quality of the food in their restaurant. We had a good time at their casino. Very well located with a great view to the city and the Caribbean Sea. It was great to stay at their hotel.
