"This hotel appears to be recently updated with only a few subtle hints of it's old self. The biggest dissapointement to me was the lack of acoustical engineering in this hotel. There seemed to be a lot of sound transmission. Also, even though this hotel is located on an intersection it only has one entry - which seemed odd and slightly inconvenient to me. The bed was comfortable enough. There were a lot of kids and some pets that I could hear at night. There was also exterior remodeling...

The only cons were the slow-draining bathroom sink, and the multiple gunshots near-by at 4:30am the first night. I was surprised since it seemed like a very safe neighborhood. "
