It was a nice property. I think the only thing I wasn’t really impressed with was the cleanliness. Our room wasn’t the cleanest. The tub had a bunch of dust in it, the floors weren’t swept or mopped. And even throughout our stay when we requested room service they were never cleaned. The room had a funny smell to it that took sometime to adjust to. The food was average.

We have stayed at this resort 2 times. There were some problems with the room, but they were resolved. Caring and friendly service staff. Very bad Internet. I liked the entertainment, especially the live music and circus performance.

This hotel is great! The staff work really hard to keep everything nice and ensure the guests are happy. However, because it's near the ocean, the furniture and fixtures in the rooms are being affected by the salt in the air. They will need to do a renovation of the furniture, including the bedding. We stayed in the bungalow rooms. Perhaps the high-end area would be better. In other words don't go cheap in booking your room.

At check-in, the staff did not inform us on how to get around the resort. We had to walk to our room which was a good distance from the front desk if you don’t know where you’re going. There aren’t signs that tell you which way to go for what rooms. Transportation to get around the resort needs to be worked on. Often times the shuttles are full so people are waiting for the next or next two shuttles which come whenever they want. The hotel room mini bar was not stocked with ANY drinks until our last night there. It wasn’t even stocked upon arrival. The resort has 9 restaurants that all need reservations, otherwise you’d have to eat at the buffet or sports bar. I promise that the food from those restaurants are food you can find at the buffet. The buffet has an outdoor seating style dining room so you’ll definitely be hot and sweaty while you’re eating. FYI Two of those restaurants are only available for platinum members. The staff HOUND you and pressure you into going to a “presentation” in hopes that you become a member of the “Royal Holiday Club” which will take up 60min of your time. Just a heads up, the membership will cost you close to $900 to join and the “welcome give” they have to offer is a beach bag, a “royal holiday club” hat and “vacation mode” T-shirt.
