“I would do this again in a heartbeat”
I checked in after a long plane ride and drive from the airport at 12:30 am and requested a late check out, for obvious reason. That was not a problem. Normal check out is 11;00 am and I did not leave until 2:00 pm due to the need for sleep and other business matters. There was no extra chage. That is unheard of in the industry. The staff was very accomodating. The room was very clean and had a warm and friendly atmosphere. I travel lot and stay in a variety of hotels, B&B and guest house. I can recommend this above most.
“Wonderful place to stay”
The hotel was clean as were the rooms. Rooms were spacious. Continental breakfast area was large and clean. It offered a variety of foods. Highly recommend if in the Redwood Valley region.
“Very Nice”
Great place to stay. Very clean, good breakfast.
“Very nice for a small town hotel!!”
We were pleasantly surprised when we came through the door of this hotel. There was a very nice looking fireplace that gave it a warm feeling right off the bat. The front desk staff was very nice and accommodating. There were fresh baked cookies on the counter-very yummy! Our room was on the second of three floors and there is an elevator. There is also a balcony to look down to the main floor. They don't have a pool but do have a large hot tub and sauna. Also a small gym with only a few pieces of equipment. Our room was decent sized with a microwave and mini fridge which we DID use. The kids brought their Xbox 360 but the rather small tvs are older and had no way to connect them. Luckily there is a Walmart right across the parking lot so we got the connecting wires to make it work. Our beds had a duvet comforter in it, but our friends had the standard hotel comforter so we felt pampered! LOL The buffet was pretty decent-make your own waffles, a few choices of cereal with milk in the fridge, a juice machine, coffee, donuts, English muffins, bagels, toast and apples, so not bad at all. All in all, it was a very good experience-the price is decent, except the second night we stayed was New Year's Eve so there was a lot of partying (us included) and the price was higher, but we attended a wedding that night and it was also across the parking lot so this hotel is in a very convenient place-gas station close by, as well as several fast food restaurants.
“An alternative to the Jackpot J Hotel”
Obviously not as close as you can get to Jackpot Junction, but a VERY viable alternative. Great breakfast (make-ur-own Belgain waffles, mmmmm waffles) Nice late checkout (11am) and reasonably priced.
“Nice clean lodging”
Very personable staff - nice clean room - great place to stay as there are not a lot of options at a reasonable rate - would definitely stay again
