After reading some of the reviews I was expecting the worst. I was impressed with the service and the cleanliness of the hotel. I'm very satisfied with this hotel.
“Great mid-scale hotel in Richmond”
I stayed at the hotel for one night and it was more than sufficient. My room was in the third building, adjacent to the pool. There was plenty of parking available. I couldn't tell if the pool was open but the area looked comfy. I had a king room with a desk and a chair and plenty of space leftover. My room faced the back (a sort of wooded area, not the parking lot) and was very quiet. The AC worked just fine and the bathroom was basic, but clean. The room also had cable tv and a clock radio. Storage was on the small side if you like to unpack, but for a couple of nights it is fine. The only problem I had was that the wi-fi signal was very weak inside the room and if it timed out, I had to log in again. But, since the wi-fi was free, that was hardly a point against the hotel. The hotel offered free breakfast but I got up too late to partake in it. Note that if you are in Richmond to do sightseeing, the hotel is at the opposite end of Broad Street from all the attractions. However, Richmond is VERY small so it's not really an issue. Also note that if you cannot walk up a flight of stairs, tell the receptionist that you need a room on the first floor because there is not an elevator, at least not in Building 3. I would stay here again next time I need to overnight in Richmond.

“Excellent hotel for the price.”
The hotel was easy to find and, while parking in the front was limited, there was lots of parking in the rear. We arrived a couple of hours before the check-in time. However, our room was ready and we were able to check in, which only took a few minutes. The staff was very nice and we were quite pleased with our stay. We certainly would stay would stay there again if we needed a hotel in that general area.

FOR THE PRICE THIS HOTEL IS DEFINATLY WORTH THE MONEY. IT WAS A GORGEOUS HOTEL AND THE SERVICE AS OUTSTANDING
“good family hotel”
Nothing fancy, but clean, with nice people serving you. Broad Street is mostly a suburban strip shopping experience, but together with local highways, gives easy access to Richmond and surrounding area. Especially Univ. of Richmond. "Famous Daves" a southern based casual dining chain(ribs & BBQ!), is enjoyable and an easy walk down Broad St.
“Great Hotel for the Price”
This hotel was located on a road were there was restuarants lining each side of the street. The Olive Garden was actually in walking distance. The room was nice and clean and hotel staff were courteous. There was a problem were my ac was not working properly and the staff imediately upgraded my room. I would defenitely recommend for the price.
“Great Time”
This was a vert nice motel. Lots of good resturants around. Nice and helpful staff. Good continental breakfast. The only thing was it had no elevator and the steps were easy to use and well lite just was a long ways to carry our bags to the room and when we left.
