“the staff was friendly and the room was inviting”
Very convenient to the highway.

Although not a fancy hotel, this property was very well maintained. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. No noise from the nearby interstate. Several restaurants nearby (although nothing fancy) We stayed here after a Tech football game and will stay again.
“adequate for an overnight stay”
My family and I stayed here as a stop over on a long drive. It was completely adequate to stay overnight and be well rested for the next day's drive. We stayed in a double room with two adults, two kids and an infant and had enough room. Not many choices for food around besides a couple of fast food restaurants.

The afternoon personnel is in need of more training. Customer service and respecting the privacy of others should always be a concern.
“Okay for the price - But nothing to do”
For the price you can't complain, but don't expect much. The staff is extermely helpful, but this hotel it in the middle of nowhere. If you want all of the conviences & attratctions/reasturants near by then go a few more miles to Roanoke.
“convenient off the hotel but sheets were dirty”
This hotel was very convenient off the freeway, however, the sheets were dirty, it was horrible. The rest of the room seemed clean, though, but the continental breakfast had no selection, just cold pastries.
