“Hotel Astoria Garden Review”
It was very clean. My room was small but the staff were very friendly and helpful. The lovely garden was a bonus.
“Very good 'Budget' hotel”
Good, clean hotel with pleasant and helpful staff. Pleasant garden courtyard and rooms this side were quiet. Very easy access for Train and Bus Station Absolutely no complains! Would have no hesitation in going again
“What a Jem”
Booked through Expedia not really knowing what to expect, what a suprise for the price. Extremely clean - close to the main train station but a 30 - 40 minute drive by car to the main airport which the hotel set up for us after arriving. The desk staff recomended a restaurant close - block and half by which was excellent. breakfast was adequate wake up call was on time, car to airport was on time. Over all excellent would not hestitate to stay again if we are ever in Roma again.
“this quaint hotel is one of the best we have staid in”
this is one of the best hotel's we have staid in. the breakfast are good and the hotel is ease to get to from the train station.and ease to walk in to the centre of rome.plus if you have your laptop with you thay will give you an hour of free of internet.
“Excellent Option”
I stayed at the Astoria Garden on January 2009. Whenever I go to Rome I find it very helpful to stay in a hotel close to Termini station as everything is just a metro-bus stop away and such location is also convenient if you have to take the train to Fiumicino to catch an early flight. This hotel is a gem, the surroundings are very quiet and the location, as mentioned, is everything when in Rome. I booked a single room and it was perfect. The rate was reasonable and the size was adequate for one person, it was kept really clean, and the staff is fantastic, they are extremely courteous and friendly. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Rome.
“Good hotel close to Termini”
The management at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and attractive, although, of course, our room was small as is typical. It is located a short distance from Termini. Our only complaint is that there is a school of some sort just across the street from in front of the hotel, and when the students arrived it was very noisy.
“This is OUR hotel for Rome!”
A small, fine hotel--close to Termini and still very quiet. Nice breakfast with a cappucino machine that we loved and great pastries, too! Desk host went over and above the call of duty to help us with train issues and prevented what could have been a disaster. Our stay was all we could ask for!
“Great 3-star experience”
Yes, the room was small: it's Rome, and we either need to get used to it or pay for a newly-built, far more expensive hotel. On the other hand, the room felt especially small because the bed was a generous size and tended to fill it up. The room also had modern windows (easy to open), heavy drapery, and a very brightly lit modern bathroom, with a shower that was a reasonable size, not tiny, and great water pressure. The hotel has a bright, clean, marble entrance, well-lit plushly carpeted halls, a courtyard garden, helpful front-desk staff, and the breakfast was substantial: plenty to drink, two or three cereals, yogurt, a selection of rolls and baked goods, cheeses, cold cuts, fresh fruit and fruit in syrup.
“Warm staff, very clean, convenient location hotel”
The only drawback is the small size of the room, but this is what most city-center hotels in Europe provide, except for the more expensive ones.
“Great Service, Great Hotel”
The hotel was a little hard to find at first but overall location was great, service was great and the rooms were very nice inside.
