"Joel and Cidelia were amazing hosts who treated us like family. Joel built his home and the sky domes from scratch. We had the wonderful opportunity to cook with Cidelia and have dinner with their family. The domes were awesome. It does get a little cold, but they were more than accommodating with blankets. Be prepared to glamp. The location and views were amazing. We enjoyed beer and a beautiful view overlooking the valley on the mini bar near our sky dome. "

"Awful-there was no road access to the building-had to walk each day with luggage to the hotel from a distant adjacent road for 10plus minutes.COULD NOT BELIEVE IT.Contacted hotel.com immediately-Nothing was resolved to our satisfaction-A REAL let down from HOTEL.COM.To top it off, there was no hot water or at times electricity..Non accessibility to hotel due to construction was not disclosed at all.Pictures are really deceptive."

"Joan picked us up from the training station and showed us to our room. The room was huge, 3 king beds the shower and jacuzzi facility was good, cant beat the price for the size. Not all of the functions of the shower worked like the side shower but the main one worked. The jacuzzi also worked well. "The property is very good for a family travelling and wanting to make some lunch/diner at home. We had difficulty getting hot water to take a shower even if we were taking a very fast shower but I think it is the same case everywhere in peru during the winter. No towels and face cloth were left to take our shower. No extra paper towels and nothing in the kitchen: no hand soap or dish soap. Just be aware to bring everything needed. Overall the place is very good. "

"Way to go! My family of 4 (with two young kids) really enjoyed the apartment because of the location and quiet home-like feel. Everything in the city was perfectly walkable: the local market, bakeries, coffee shops, the main plaza, Sacsayhuaman. We found it to be an ideal base for exploring and we felt very safe. The apartment was clean. Some of our favorite things were 1.) the endless hot water tank, which meant great showers 2.) the rooftop deck, which we had access to, had a wonderful view...

"Realize that most people in Peru are not as tall as we are, 5'10+, the couch was very short. We made do by buying a lawn chair that we left for the landlord since we were there for a month. bed was very comfy, again a double, we have a king at home. You make do with what you have, we would stay here again. its an apartment, you do hear other tenants from time to time."

"This is a fabulous property, maybe the best I’ve ever been to, and I’ve seen a few. VERY. courteous and helpful staff. Great location to walk around. And an absolutely beautiful and unique building in a former monastery. The courtyard was open, friendly and peaceful, I did my morning coffee and afternoon tea there. Excellent stay!
"Loved our stay at Susanna Inn. The breakfast is delicious. The staff are very friendly. Highly recommend getting a mountain facing room. The sound of the river is so soothing at night plus our room was able to get quite cool opening the window. The only nitpicky thing to point out is the trash can in the bathroom is a regular basket with no lid. Since toilets in Peru do not accept paper, it'd be preferable to have a lid. "
