“Fantastic Suites Hotel near airport”

Great value and great facilities at this place near the airport. Also very easy to get into city centre from here. Large comfortable room with full kitchen (microwave, 2 electric rings, full sized dishwasher, full sized fridge freezer etc). Desk with ethernet connection for laptop. TV with DVD and video player (free DVDs and videos available at front desk). Large bathroom. Free laundry facilities in the buiding (also gym - can't comment on that as we didn't use it). Air conditioner and fridge were rather noisy, but apart from that I can't think of anything bad to say about this place. The hotel also offers a shuttle service to/from airport. we did not use this as we had a rental car, but its another plus.

“Best hotel I'll recommend to my friends”

The room was quiet and clean. The crews was professional and very nice. If we'll visit salt Lake City again, we'll absorlutely choose it again!!

“Two thumbs up”

My stay @ Candlewood suites was very pleasant. I stayed in a queen studio suite and I loved having a fully functional kitchen. The dvd library was also a plus. But being from out of town one of the most helpful services was the express shuttle.

“Comfortable and cheap”

Rooms are spacious. Service is great and room prices rock. I will definitely be back here if I ever travel back this way.

“Amazing hotel!”

This was a great hotel. The suites were ready to live in for a day or a month. The convenience store based on the honor system was awesome. We got in from a late flight and our kids were starving. I went looking for a vending machine but instead found a small store with prices on everything and a box to put your money into. Amazing in this day and age. The only downside at all was a very heavy chemical smell from the carpets and drapes. I assumed this was from fire retardants required in the hotel industry but it was a bit overwhelming. But I wouldn't let it stop me from staying there again.

“Good deal.”

I like this place. The price is very good if you prepay. Because its an extended stay there isn't daily housekeeping, but that doesn't bother me, and silly stuff like coffee costs extra. The location is great for access to the airport, downtown, and easy access to I-80 for the drive out to Miller Motorsports Park.

“Value for the money”

My husband and I just needed a place to stay that was close to the airport for an early morning flight. The price was great. If you just need a good clean place to spend the night this is perfect. I will use this motel in the future when we travel to SLC.

“Candlewood Suites”

The hotel is tailored for extended stay with a full kitchen, dishes, etc. We were there only for one night to catch the flight early next morning. The location is super close to the airport and only 15 minutes (driving) away from downtown where you will find a lot of places to eat and get gas (for rental car). The free shuttle to airport comes every half an hour and was pretty punctual (at 4:45am). Overall, very good value.

“Undergoing renovations...”

Not a bad experience and very inexpensive but due to renovations and the clients it felt downscale compared to the newer hotels on the west side of the airport. I wish I'd know it was going to have carpet missing and temperature controls that weren't very effective (it was hot even though I turned the thermostat down to 60 degrees).
