“Can't wait to go back”
The only problem was the lack of parking spaces available. Overall it was a wonderful visit and I will be back.
“Great Staff”
The staff, from front-desk representatives to housekeeping, at the O'Brien is trustworthy and honest. After realizing I had left my ipad in the room at check-out, I called the hotel. The staff had already secured my device and was ready to return it to my home. What a pleasure to experience Texas-style service!!!!
“Highly Impressed”
I don't travel that often and I had never heard of this hotel but when I got there and walked into the lobby I knew that I had chosen right. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. The room was great. It was a fairly small hotel and it was conveniently located within walking distance of many great locations. If I ever have to travel that way again I know that I have a great place to stay.
“Great Hotel”
Excellent location, about 1-2 blocks from Riverwalk. Friendly and helpfull staff. Nice and luxury rooms. Delicious complimentary breakfast.
“Worth the money for the location”
The hotel is half a block away from the Riverwalk and the Alamo. There was one male employee that checked us in and seemed completely untrained in customer service but all the other employees were really nice. The hotel had a book of restaurant suggestions that was really helpful. Some things to look out for: If you stay in one of the rooms at the front of the hotel bring earplugs because you can hear the traffic throughout the night. The breakfast area has barely any seating so plan on it to-go or eating in your room. The room was small but really nice and clean. Overall we really enjoyed staying in the hotel and we felt like we got a really good deal for what it was worth.

I love this Hotel I love the fact it was an Historical Hotel and it was very clean and upscale for so much history. Next time I want to stay in the room that has a Jacuzzi Tube which was offered and told I would have one in my room including a balcony. Overall I enjoyed my stay and we will be back again ...
“Great Experience”
We were very pleased with the room, the only thing we didn't care for was is was pretty small. Having never been to San Antonio befor we didn't know the area and wasn't sure how close it would be to Riverwalk, what a pleasant surprise that it was so close! The breakfast was very good and helped us save alot of money. And I loved the 24 hour coffee bar....it was great and I used it several times a day! Would recommend and would stay there again.
“Charming”
The staff were very friendly and the continental breakfast was pleasant, a including Texas-shaped waffle maker. The balcony overlooked a parking lot next to La Villicita, but it was pleasant nonetheless with comfortable chairs and small tables. The location is a stone's throw from the Riverwalk. Very clean and comfortable overall with nice historic touches.
