“Convention in San Diego.”
I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the service at the front desk.. I appreciated being able to walk to the Convention Center and the amazing Horton Shopping Center in approximately 15 minutes. It was a bonus to have breakfast included in the rate and be able to park a car within the hotel at a reasonable rate. Contrary to other reviews I had read, the elevators ran in a timely fashion. My room, which was on the 14th floor, was more than adequate and there was instant hot water for my morning shower. The neighbourhood is enjoying a rennaisance with the building of new condominium apartments which makes it very quiet in the evenings.
“Great location”
Nice large room , central location to city center and harbour side and Little Italy all within a short walking distance .resonable type breakfast .Cheap parking .
“I will definitely go back to this hotel.”
The hotel location was great. We called for a shuttle and it was there when we needed it. We had a very nice breakfast. We did have to wait a liitle bit to get something to our room but everything else was great.
“Things to remember...”
Great location. Walkable to Little Italy and nearby waterfront attractions. Easy enough to hop on rail to get to Old Town and Gaslamp or Petco Park. One has to remember that downtown gets noisy starting around 6 a.m. With trains, planes and automobile noise so keeping the window open may give you an early wake up call. Comfy beds and small fridge in room a definite plus. Friendly staff.

Room was big,beds were very clean and the service was amazing, everybvody had a smaile on.
“Wonderful stay”
The front desk agents are very friendly and helpful with all our questions and requests, we feel very welcome the entire time. With reasonble price, they provide free Wifi (speed is fast), free breakfast for two and free shuttle to the airport, this is definetly a great hotel to stay with. The location is also very convenient, a few blocks to the little italy which is a must-go for great italian foods. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will definetly come back in the future.
“We like the Bayside Inn”
we have been to the Bayside Inn 3 times, each time we say that we would be pleased to come back.Sadly there is building going on at the bay side of the hotel, and this, in the future will restrict the view, but did not inconvenience us at all.
“I'll stay there next time in town”
Hotel was kept up great. Hotel staff service was very helpful and the convenient resturant with happy hour was great. Close to the bay and a rite aid store close enough to walk to. The only not so good thing was the $10.00 extra night for parking.
“great location”
We were on the 13th floor with a wonderful view of the sail ship Star of India. Easy walking distance to the trolley station, Little Italy, or to walk along the bay. Felt very safe walking in the area. Free airport shuttle service, and continental breakfast made the trip hassle free. Room was large and very comfortable.
