“Close to the Del Mar Fair grounds.”
Staff was very helpful with my needs, I only booked one night, but realized I needed another night and they helped me out with getting a room for an additional night, even though they were almost completely booked.

Decent room, good hot breakfast, good coffee, walking distance to a public access beach. I didn't try the pool.

found the front desk staff warm, friendly and very informative. check -in took maybe a minute which was nice, as we were in a hurry to attend a concert nearby.

Very satisfied with overall customer service. I just hope that next time they will be better prepare if a power blackout ever happens, needs to iluminate aisles to rooms, and install some type of emergency lights inside the rooms. O and also make sure that the temperature of the hot water is hot and not cold like how it was on friday ( 09-09-2011) at 4.00 AM. I Know it was not your fault, but please be better prepared next time.
“WILL DEFINATELY STAY AGAIN”
A LITTLE PRICY BUT CLEAN,PLEASANT AND THE WHOLE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE AMENITIES WERE GREAT AND BREAKFAST SELECTIONS WERE GREAT. FIRST TIME I HAVE HAD HOTEL COFFEE THAT WAS TASTY AND NOT BITTER OR TO STRONG.
“Solana Beach Getaway”
Our stay at the Solana Beach Holiday Express was great. We had one incident with some teens loudly playing in the pool at 1a.m. but one short call to the desk later it was stopped. The breakfast included was very nice, although we did go to a local spot to actually eat, we did stop by and pick up a coffee and roll as a snack! Our room was very clean and nice. We would stay there again. :)

I found this hotel very nice and convenient to the beaches, great parking area, close to some great delicious eating.
“Nice hotel, no problems, would stay again”
Only a few blocks from the beach (a beautiful beach too) and plenty of shops and places to eat in walking distance. We primarily came here so that we could walked to the Belly Up Tavern for a concert. The venue is about a 10 minute walk away. Loved staying here and would have no problem staying here again. Clean room, good location.
