“Close to everything...”
Hotel is close t everything important....trolley line, Gaslamp district, Petco field, waterfront, etc. Service impeccable.
“great hotel, great location”
The Omni San Diego is a really nice hotel with a SUPER location. We were within easy access of the highway right in the Gas Lamp district, close to public transportation, fabulous restaurants and cute stores. The room was comfortable - nothing spectacular, but certainly comfortable and well-maintained - but it was the convenience of the location that would make it a place we would return to in a heartbeat. The staff was also very helpful whenever we had questions.
“Confortable and central; very nice personnel”
My only complaint: it's absurd for such a high level hotel to pay anything for Internet Access...
“San Diego's Best”
One of the best hotels that I have stayed in. The quality of the staff was exceptional and the conceirge service was one of the best if not the best that I have had. The outdoor pool was amazing and my room was quite spacious and comfortable. if you love baseball and want to catch a game, this is a great hotel to stay, their is a walk bridge to the ballpark from the hotel that gets guest in with no waiting in line. I plan on staying here again soon!
“Very Nice Hotel...Expensive Restaurant”
My daughter and I visited San Diego on vacation and had an absolutely wonderful time. The hotel was very nice and so was the staff. The room was modern and clean. We stayed 5 nights and each day looked forward to coming back to our room after a long day of seeing the sights. The hotel is located in a nice location for getting around. A taxi park area is a few feet outside the front of the hotel on the corner if you needed to use them. The only down side of our stay at the hotel was the price of the food in the restaurant. I shouldn't complain though, the prices and all applicable fees are clearly stated in the guest book in each room so no surprises. I'd stay at the Omni Hotel San Diego again and again!
“Great Stay”
We took advantage of the Ballpark Special rate to stay in this hotel. With a room facing the ballpark and train tracks, I prepared myself for a noisy night, but never heard a thing. My daughter said she heard a little outdoor noise, but not enough to affect her sleep. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
“Great access to Petco Park”
I'd recommend a trip to a game at Petco Park. The direct hotel access is safe and convenient, especially when visiting with little kids.
“Exquisite!”
Beautiful hotel, wonderful service.
“Great Sleeping Accommodations for the Price”
Lacking in-hotel night life. 12:30 am last call at bar. No music. Interior design and furnishngs are very contemporary. Very convenient to convention center.
“Excellent”
Great pool! Nice room, good TV and great bed.
