“You will not believe this place”
My wife and I arrived late from the Milan train....the staff prepared us a lovely plate of prosciuotto and melon....the bed was a bit soft...the views ofr the Italian Liguria and the French Riviera were unbelievavle...breakfast was excellent...service great ....total thumbs up for this one!! Check out the Ventimiglia market on Friday...best deals on leather goods in Europe.

This hotel has got a fantastic view form both the room and the restaurant.
“Stunning views”
Nice staff and stunning views. Pleasant garden area to sit in and very nice pool. Bedroom had balcony with sunshade which kept the room tolerably cool. Pleasant restaurant, always with nice service but really quite expensive for what was on offer. Biggest drawback was the drive to and from the town which is a very narrow switchback road which just becomes tiresome.
“A tired hotel with beautiful views”
This hotel has beautiful views over the Ligurian Sea at Ventimiglia, but you must prepare yourself for a 5km drive with hairpin bends all the way to get up there. The hotel looks tired and could do with a complete refurb, but the staff are pleasant enough and the rooms are adequate for a one-night stop. The restaurant has French Riviera prices, but the food is very good.

Getting there: The easiest way to reach the hotel is by taxi or hire car. Both are available at the airport.
Getting around: Ventimiglia is easily explored on foot, and bicycles or scooters are available for hire. Trains connect to other destinations along the coast. A car is recommended for travelling further afield.
