In a very good location - peaceful, but a short car ride to Siena and within easy reach of some of Tuscany’s other highlights (Volterra, Montalcino). Wish I’d had a little more time to spend here to enjoy the pool and the BBQ."

"Very unique, old building with Renaissance charm. Opportunity to enjoy old time luxury. Very well decorated and close to many charming restaurants. The town is very walkable. The owner and property manager are very friendly and live on-site, making themselves accessible. The only negative was the small shower, but it turned out to be acceptable. "

"The host is excellent, the property is wonderful, spacious parking for six vehicles inside an anient iron and brick fence, ancient house with gorgeous and spacious interior, high ceilings, balcony with a spectacular view of the Tuscany countryside, and a fourteen minute drive from paid parking in the historic city center of Siena. "I was not at all happy with this “hotel.” The room was very small, the bathroom ridiculously tiny. The soap they gave was the size of a postage stamp. The breakfast was awful. The bed in this tiny room practically took up the entire room and was just a piece of foam that sagged all over. I could not get a decent nights sleep. I have never complained about a place I stayed...but this should not have received more than a 1or 2 star. The receptionist on the first night was very unfriendly and...
