"We had a wonderful stay at The Pelican hotel. The staff were exceptional, with a special mention to Chris at the front desk for his outstanding service. The food and drinks were fantastic. Despite the hotel's location on the main strip, it felt quiet and peaceful. The rooms are not entirely soundproof, but it wasn't a major issue. "Loved the room. Very easy to walk to dining and beach. Only parking was valet and was $50 a day which is pricy. Arrived a little before check in time so had to store luggage because valet parking was off premises. Breakfast was a voucher for an off site restaurant which was very good, however it was pouring rain, umbrella was in car off site and was several blocks away so got very wet to do breakfast."
