“Perfect Vacation Spot!”
We loved our trip to the islands. Our stay at Secret Harbour was wonderful. The beach is beautiful and not crowded. My husband loved the snorkeling and saw many different fish, squid and even got to swim with four sea turtles. Most of the other other beaches have beautiful sand beaches, but no seashells. Secret Harbour had just enough to keep me happy beachcombing. Food was expensive everywhere we went (not just the resort) but we had some very excellent meals. We were in building six, which required a walk down/up the hill, but the view from our balcony was spectacular. We bought bottled water to drink because the water has a yellow cast to it. We were assured that it was safe to drink, but we were squeamish. We rented a car. Definitely the way to go, but you have to learn to drive on the left side of the road!!! It is a challenge to remember! The room was not luxurious, but was definitely above average and very clean and neat. The full kitchen was very nice! All of the staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back here, and that isn't something we usually say. It was fantastic. Five stars all the way for me!
“Excellent Week!”
We had a wonderful beachfront room. The lunches and dinners we ate in the Sunset Grill and the Cafe were great but it was also nice to have a kitchen so we had the ability to prepare our own food if we wanted. The staff at Aqua Action Dive shop were awesome. We rented snorkel gear for the week, did a Discover Scuba course and a Night Snorkel all were amazing.
“Secret Harbour Resort”
What a great venue, would have liked to have spent our week there. Great price, great view and a great beach!
“Great way to enjoy St. Thomas & St. John without the tourist crowds!”
While this resort IS a fair jaunt from the airport, we found driving the island's northern route (38) to and from the resort (once east of Charlotte Amalie) was breath-taking and had much less traffic. Nearby Red Hook is convenient for groceries, ferry & some entertainment. Condo had fridge, mic, stove, etc. to make simple meals now & then and save $ for sightseeing, etc. Very nice beach & brand new restaurant/bar at the resort! Yummy drinks. Had a very comfortable 2nd floor condo with just a few steps down to the beach - convenient & had great views + privacy. We swam and snorkeled daily : ) The resort staff were all very friendly, and knowledgeable about the area, giving us useful tips, esp. dive shop staff. Was easy to book a BVI snorkeling excusion thru them, also fabulous. What a wonderful way to celebrate our 30th!
“Terrific Experience”
Excellent experience
“abc”
the best thing was the awesome snorkeling right there in our bay. we went on another snorkel trip for big bucks and saw less underwater life than we saw at secret harbor. great staff and cab guy was always there ready to take us anywhere...and if not then they called and cab there in 5 minutes. great vacation all the way around!!!
“Sunrise on the beach at Secret Harbor”
Very nice, clean ocean view Studio apartment overlooking a small harbor cove in Estate Nazareth near Red Hook on the east end of the island.. Nice beach viewed from my balcony. I could leave the door wall open all night and listen to the waves coming in on the beach Lot's of little lizards (which are good luck..means no bugs) and Iguana present. They are interesting to observe and do not bother people. It is a bit of a long drive (one hour) to the east end of St. Thomas on VERY steep, winding roads. You must rent a car drive on the "wrong side of the road". Roads are not marked with signage even though there are street names on the maps. You must navigate by road numbers ei: #322,#32, #30. I would not have found the place on my own. My son lives there and guided me in. People without a car appeared to wait a long time for taxi service There is a nice restaurant on site, very pricy by my standards starting at $29. A beach grill on site at the beach was more reasonable. Hamburgers are $15. Drinks extra. Staff are nice and grounds are kept up daily. Snorkeling and scuba available on site.
“best family vacation ever”
We love Secret Harbour- best beach on the island and they treated our whole family wonderful... staff was great, resturants wonderful, the rooms very clean and comfortable... we will be back for the 4th time in 2 more years!!!
“Secret harbour”
Great resort with spacious accommodations and friendly staff. Beach was very peaceful and overall made for a very relaxing break.
“First visit to St. Thomas”
The views were spectacular. Coming into St. Thomas was pretty hectic as we arrived during Carnival. We were in a very secluded area and it was spectacular. A must do again in our book. We were able to view another of the condo's and it was also beautiful.
