Great location, comfortablePosted Oct 26, 2013
Cons: Update the thermostat to a "fuzzy' logic version.
Typical small hotel in many ways. Nice (student) staff. The HVAC was REALLY noisy in my room, coming on every few minutes. I turned it off and opened the window :) The breakfast buffet was "basic" -- but there's a decent coffee place in the Student Union.

Great location in center of town.Posted Oct 16, 2013
We stay here almost once a month. The location and the facilities are pretty good. The staff is always nice. This trip we had some plumbing issues. I slow drain and some mildew on the shower curtain. As a rule the students who run the hotel are always great, but some time should be spent on quality assurance.

right in the middle of the OSU campus!Posted Jul 2, 2013
My husband and I stayed at the Atherton for one night while our daughter attended freshman orientation. Easy access to off campus restaurants (Eskimo Joe's and Hideaway Pizza!), the parking garage, and our daughter's dorm. Also enjoyed a complimentary breakfast the next morning in the Ranchers Club. The only negative I can think of was the size of the bathroom...little on the small side but not a dealbreaker. We tried to book a room for homecoming weekend but of course its already full. This will definitely be our first choice when we come to visit over the next 4 years.

A bit pricey but overall goodPosted Sep 3, 2012
We were a bit disappointed to find that we had to pay $25 to park just to check into the hotel. I wish this had been disclosed from the beginning of our reservation. The staff was quite courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet was fresh and tasty. I wish our room had a mini fridge in it.

great for students parentsPosted Jul 17, 2012
Pros: on campus
Cons: a large amount of construction going on in and around the hotel.
Location: easy access to all things campus-related which was the purpose of the trip.
The room was pleasant and the overall stay was good. The second night I stayed in a different room that had a very strong odor of fresh paint. I called the front desk and they immediately made arrangements to move me to a different room.

Nice room for the pricePosted Jul 12, 2012
Pros: It was decorated with OSU colors and the room was quiet.
Cons: We had to pay $10.00 for parking the next morning, which was not even related to the hotel.
Location: the hotel is located in Stillwater, Ok on the OSU campus
Other than not being able to eat in the hotel restaurant for breakfast, the room was nice. We liked that it is right on campus and we could walk around to get where we needed to go. The next morning we ate breakfast in a room not far from the hotel within the student union building. The room we stayed in had no windows so we did not have to contend with extra light coming in at night or bright light shining on us in the morning.
