“a modern gem on hasting street”
excellent and modern look. fully funtional kitchen but we did not use it. hotel amenities were very good including the spa in the room whcih was brilliant. beach was across the road and perfect for dinning as places were 2 mins walk. will be back here for sure
“Can't wait to go back!”
The French Quarter was in a fantastic location on Hastings Street right across the road from the beach. It was very secure which we were very impressed with and felt very safe. The pool is a great spot to relax and we enjoyed the two spas! Our deluxe room was wonderful with a spa bath, a very comfortable bed a balcony overlooking the pool. We will definitely come back and had a great time away!
“Great family holiday destination.”
We stayed for 7 days and with our family of 5, the apartment was wonderful. Well located and very close to the beach. The hotel pool was big and plenty of umbrella and lounge chairs around. Rooms were clean.
“Surprisingly good”
This seems like a very good location for families with kids up to the teens. Great pool and facilities in the central area, nice gardens, and quite a safe environment. Excellent parking for those who drive to the resort, and good location on Hastings St.

The location was excellent with easy access to beach, restaurants, walks. The resort had great amenities. The only concern was the cleanliness of the room and few supplies. The resort had a friendly and warm feel to it.
“Good family holiday accomodation”
The French Quarter is an excellent place for families, close location to the beach, cafes, restaurants & public transport, the staff were helpful & friendly. although busy it was very quiet in the evening which was great. We would certainly go back.

“Not what I expected!”
Far to noisy and too many families, especially if you are wanting a quiet break. Very dated and tired decor in the rooms, and equipment needs updating. The deluxe room very wanting! Convenient to mail street and beach and very secure. Pool quite small and far too warm not refreshing. Little room around the pool to sit.
“Breakfree French Quarter tired.”
Our hotel room was fine for one night. It was very tiny and just tired. You could barely move in it and you would be really dissapointed if you had booked to stay there for a week. The carpet was torn and it just needed an overhaul.
