This hotel was perfect for our 3-night stay in Takayama: Great location (easy walk from the train and bus stations, close to all the beautiful areas of Takayama, but very peaceful inside) and welcoming and considerate staff. Breakfasts were delicious and the onsens so soothing. Definitely recommend!

Convenient location with nearby subway, 7-11 store, and restaurants. Onsite onsen is quite good. Room is big and clean. The hotel is new. I had a pleasant stay there.

Have a pleasant stay here although the room is considerably small. The room is clean and comfortable. Hotel is 5-7 min walk from Takayama station. Nohi bus terminal is just located next to the station. Convenient for those who want to visit Shirakawago and Kamikochi by bus. Short distance walk to old town.

I really enjoyed my stay at this property! It was an easy walk from the train station and an even easier walk to the Old Town. I appreciated their rooftop onsen and they had a lovely breakfast. They even provide a service to have different types of pillows which was very unique. If I find my way back to Takayama, I will stay here again.

Having an onsen on the top floor was wonderful! The hotel is in a really good location - close to the bus and train station and also many places to visit.

Breakfast time is too strict, door close sharply at 9:30. There is no place for customer to eat bento, only in own room, bed worn put, curve down a bit. Excellent location, nice spa

The room was very clean, and I loved that it has the onsen on the roof. Great view both day and night. Good location, close to the train station. The buffet breakfast was good.

This place is fantastic, they have a rooftop Onsenwith an inside and outside Spa area. It’s in the center for Takayama, you can walk to the train station in three minutes. I could never get a room for this price in America or Europe in a 100 years. The owner is a hard-working, very helpful lady. I will stay at this hotel every time I come to Takayama. You can walk to everything to see in Takayama.

We loved the Sky Spa on the 9th floor! We views from the baths was exquisite and I would come here again for the overall atmosphere of the town of Takayama and stay at this hotel for the Sky Spa, we felt like kings as we had it all to ourselves! The sautéed tofu with Dashi flakes was outstanding at breakfast!

The hotel was very clean and modern looking. Service is great and the breakfast selection was very good. I like that there's a comfortable resting area outside the public bath on L9 so we can wait for each other if one is earlier. Also the location is very near to the bus center

This hotel is close enough to the train station - Convenient! The price is rightly set - reasonable! The spa/onsen is provided - comfortable! I do not need to comment more on the staff - Japanese hospitality! The only negative comment was the kids in the onsen though the hotel was supposed to be an adult hotel. I personally do like rather a quiet onsen place without any kids around.

The reception was great, location is convenient, parking is cheap, only 600¥/night with unlimited entry if there is still any parking bay available when u return to hotel. The public onsen was great too!

Boutique hotel, good location
The hotel looks new and modern, located just about 15mins walk from the town city. There is a 7-11 across the street, and several restaurants nearby or round the corner that are open for dinner. The room was neat and clean although small. Breakfast spread was adequate and delicious. Overall a good hotel at reasonable price.

Overall very nice.
We ended up staying here for two days because of the typhoon. the staff was very friendly and they let us into our rooms early because we were all sitting around the waiting room waiting to get checked in. like most Japanese hotels there was no coffee available before breakfast so we had to walk across the street to 7-Eleven to get coffee. Public bath was fantastic. Breakfast was adequate. Internet was acceptable.
