“Nice hotel on a budget”

Good hotel, good service, clean rooms.

“Good Location”

Right off the highway. Gas stations with convinience stores all around. Hotel was a little old but clean. I would recommend it to others.

“Good for the price”

Had some problems with light bulbs in the room. Otherwise good value for the money on a very busy weekend.

“Would like a softer bed!!”

Overall it was a good stay for convenience. The service was nice, kept cool, and the pool was nice and warm. The bed on the other hand was hard and didn't get a good nights rest. But it was a good place to stay for the night.

“better than expected”

I was in town for FSU family weekend and hotels nearest campus were already booked. Super 8 sounded like a very low budget motel and I was a little apprehensive before check in. I was pleasantly susrprised: conveniently located off I10 about 10 minute drive to FSU, in decent neighborhood, large room had old stain on carpet but was otherwise clean, friendly and helpful staff at front desk, free breakfast and use of computer to print my return boarding pass. Not a bad deal!

“Shower didn't work!!!”

This hotel was way too much for one night in a cruddy, smelly room. God knows what stained the floors. The hotel was full for game weekend, and when we got up in the morning to shower...guess what, the shower was broken. Had to wait for the front desk to figure out what to do. Luckily ONE guest did not show, so we went to that room to shower....and were told, be careful not to get it too dirty, we'll have to clean it up. WHAT? My room doesn't have a functioning shower and you're telling me I should be concerned about getting the other room dirty?!?! Whatever. I'd never stay there again.

“Would not go back ever.”

I reserved 3 rooms to attend a wedding. First the bathroom where the stool is located is so small you hit your head on the wall (literally). The shower and sink is in another bathroom. The shower system in all three rooms ran cold for several seconds, then ran super hot for several seconds. I'm talking hot-hot. This variation occurred continuously for the length of the shower. The phone didn't work in one room (no phone jack). The air conditioner didn't work in one room. The door lock quite working on my room and I couldn't get into the room. The room in general is very small. The TV remote didn't work in one room and could only get one channel - Cartoon Network. No wonder it was so easy to get reservations. I wouldn't stay here again on a bet.

“the not so super, super 8”

first of all the price was jacked up due to event at the college. paid double what a super 8 should cost, maybe even triple. requested non-smoking and was placed in a smoking room that smelled like some had just chained smoked all day. room was run down as you would expect I guess for a super 8, but when you pay double or triple the price it's a little hard to take and worse of all both mornings we had to take a cold shower. we were told because our room was in the back of the hotel it take the hot water a while to reach us and also because hotel was full and so many others were taking showers this could be why we didn't have hot water. very frustrating since I paid just as much as everyone else and expect hot shower or at least very warm side. will never stay at another super 8 every.
