Pelagia Trattoria - Overlooking the fountain courtyard, this stylish restaurant features a bright decor of hand-glazed tiles, custom ironwork, and blown-glass pendant lamps. Serving modern Mediterranean cuisine, including Pelagia Bouillabaisse, Pan-Seared Salmon, and Fresh Tagliatelle Pasta. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Gabriella's - This lobby lounge serves Starbucks coffee and pastries from early morning until mid-morning. Cocktails and light menu selections are available from midday until late evening.
The Olive Bar - Guests sample a complimentary selection of imported olives at this bar located adjacent to the front desk.

“Good stay.”
Check-in and Check-out was easy. Everything was clean, beds and pillows were soft, and bathroom was nice. However, their bar soap was not that good, because after showering my skin was extra dry. Also, the choice of color for my room could have been better. The carpet was a green tone, which I didn't like that much. These two things were the only gripes I had. Otherwise, the stay was very nice.
“Great place to stay!”
After reading a few other reviews I was hesitant on staying at the Renaissance. But seriously, if one pays close attention to the dates of the other reviews, which was during spring break, then conditions might change due to a younger crowd. When I arrived the front desk was extremely polite and the man who brought the luggage to our room refused to take a tip. Everything was great about the room, no complaints. The halls seemed newly painted and clean. The only improvement would be to update the pool chairs. With the mall next door it was so simple to eat and drink and return safely to our room. The hotel restaurant is excellent and definitely try the fresh pasta dishes. For the price this stay is definitely worth every cent.

The hotel service seemed pretty expensive even for a hotel. However, everything was great except for the pool. The pool should have been more clean.

The hotel was elegant and clean. There were no problems, and everything I needed (hair dryer, iron, etc...) were in the room.
“Great hotel - worth the cost”
This is a wonderful hotel. The atmosphere mimics a Mediterranian villa. Beautifully decorated and the staff is very nice. Breakfast was included with our room. Menu items or a breakfast buffet are both available. We had the buffet each morning. The beds are so comfortable and the room was very clean.
“Very Impressed”
This is a great hotel and situated close to everything in Tampa. We went for the Jets V Tampa Bucs game and the hotel arranged for a bus to take us back and forth to the game ($10 E/W which is the same as all the other hotels I have stayed at in FL). They have a free shuttle thats picks up and takes you to the Airport. Drivers were very friendly and they willingly took us to a restaurant one of the evenings. The hotel is situated in a complex with restaurants and a great sports bar (Champs). It is also just a short ride from downtown Tampa. The restaurant on site was excellent and most items were $10 to $15.

Very convenient location, friendly and efficient staff, great buffet breakfast, good parking setup, best place we have stayed in Tampa. Close to airport, football stadium, and a fabulous mall/dining district.
“Very nice hotel”
The staff was extremely helpful from the minute we arrived. The room was clean and room service was fast. We will definately stay there again.
“Good location for Tampa”
Right near airport, stadiums, and a nice mall, and less than 30 mins from St. Pete and Busch Gardens. Restaurant was nice if a little... eclectic... and hotel was pretty good for $.
