“Looking forward to staying at New Sheridan again”
The New Sheridan was a lovely place to stay while skiing at Telluride. The staff was friendly and helpful. The ski locker and boot dryer arrangement worked well. An extra plus was the free parking. Bar was comfortable.
“Great hotel, great service, great location.”
Great hotel in the heart of town. Yet only a 3 minute walk to the gondola. The bar next door was also a great spot to hang out. We wanted to eat at the hotel's chophouse next door. But it's quite popular and very difficult to get a reservation. The trick is to hang out at the Lobby bar in the front of the hotel. If a small table opens up, jump on it. The chophouse has full menu service in the Lobby Bar (at the bar and the surrounding tables). Very friendly service at the front desk. Rooftop Jacuzzi was nice after a hard day on the slopes. I loved all the old black and white photos in the halls, showing the hotel and guests from back at the turn of the century.
“Great hotel”
The hotel is right in the center of downtown Telluride. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The decor is great and the hotels feels inviting and cozy. 2 blocks from the gondola and lifts.Had a great experience!

“New Sheridan Excellent Choice”
Room was very comfortable--particularly like the heated floor in the bathroom; Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating; location couldn't be better right in the center of Telluride and 1.5 blocks from lift; reasonably priced
“Nice Hotel in Telluride”
This was a very nice place to Telluride. The rooms and bathrooms are attractive and clean, and the public rooms have nice character. Would definitely stay here again.
“Telluride's New Sheridan Hotel”
We booked a suite in the annex of the New Sheridan Hotel, and were very pleased with the room, ambiance, location and service at the hotel. Situated in one of the most picturesque places in the Rocky Mountains, in the heart of the charming town of Telluride, this hotel was excellent. The room was comfortable, and had a very rustic feel, but with all the modern amenities. Easy access to restaurants, bars, shopping and of course the mountains, make this a solid recommendation.
“REview of New Sheridan Inn, Feb. 2012”
We stayed here before the remodel and it was nice then and has since been greatly improved. Lots of nice touches in the rooms, nice hot tubs on the roof, and great friendly staff, especially Bo.
