“Weekedn in Tirana”
Right on the main square and near all the main sights. I had a 12th floor front room with great views. Nice breakfast terrace overlooking the square too.

i've stayed at the tirana international before so i knew what to expect and i was not disappointed.

Quirky hotel, with lots of Cold War history. That said, rooms were nice and comfortable, staff were friendly and accomodating (albeit with limited English), and the location absolutely CANNOT be beat. Very few English television stations (CNN / BBC World News), but perhaps a good incentive to get out and explore.

“Excellent base in Tirana”
I stayed in the Tirana International and found it a good base for my visits to colleagues out of the capital. The price and standard are good and the standard of hotels has improved a lot since my first vsiti to Albania in 1998!

I was quite satisfied with room and the food served. Restaurant staff could be more friendly but I think it is due to language capacities that they are reserved.

Only spent one night at the hotel (passing through Tirane) and it was a great base for exploring the nightlife which Tirane has to offer. We had a room overlooking the main square, which provided great views. Tirane is an interesting and developing city, the hotel reflected this. The rooms were very comfortable but the bathroom was a bit ropey (shower was a bit dirty and not really up to what would normally be expected from a 4* hotel). However, probably this will improve as Albania continues it's rapid pace of development and breakfast on the balcony in the morning was fantastic. Overall a good stay.
