Had an amazing 10-day stay at Super Hotel Premier Akihabara while on tour in Japan. The staff were very helpful and polite throughout and did their best despite my limited Japanese. My room was a theater room which, while small like most Tokyo hotel rooms, was very comfortable and had a lot of nice amenities like its own AC unit, a handy multi-point charging cable to use with the built-in USB receptacles, and a small fridge. The bed was large and very soft although the main pillow was oddly quite firm - slept like a log nevertheless especially since the room was very quiet.
I didn't opt for the hotel breakfast since I preferred to grab yummy bento from the nearby convenience stores but if the delicious smells in the elevator in the morning were any indication it was probably great. I made liberal use of the onsen however and it was heavenly after long days wandering Akiba, Tokyo Auto Salon, or other parts of Japan.
Location wise the hotel was also great since it's a 5-minute walk to Chuo-dori - Akihabara's main street - and Akihabara train station. Iwamotocho subway station was just a minute away in the opposite direction and between that and Akihabara station it was super easy to get pretty much anywhere. Despite the convenient access the hotel itself was on a quiet side street away from noisy traffic. PIN pads made hotel and room access easy even after late nights out.
In short, this was one of my best hotel stays ever and I would totally come back!
