“Great front desk staff”
The front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is located close to the train station and was excellent for easy access to Loire Valley castle tours.

Hotel's location was near train station and not particularly close to sites we wanted to see, but we knew that when we reserved the room. Air conditioners worked, but didn't cool the rooms particularly well. The rooms were decorated in a manner than made us recall the 1970's. The staff was very helpful in giving us directions and answering our questions.

hotel was in a good situation, near the railway station and sites to see. Thought the 14 euros per person for breakfast was very expensive and went out for breakfast. It is a good place for a few nights.
“Steer Clear”
Had a number of problems with the "Quality" Harmonie in Tours. Firstly the air conditioning. The first part of the week during which it was very hot both day and night (around 30 to 35 degrees), the air conditioning was broken. No one told us about this until I actually asked so we had the blower blasting out what was in fact stale, warm air all night, much to our discomfort. We didn't get a lot of sleep the first two nights. Then when it had cooled down a little we were told that the air conditioning had been fixed but turned off because it was now fresh. Well maybe for a local in Tours it was, but not for us yorkshire folk. So we had no air conditioning all week. Then there was no tea and coffee making facilities in the room. I complained about this and so some were provided. But then every day after this, the cleaner would remove the cups from the room and I would have to go and ask for replacements. The kettle was always left, but no cups! So some days we were unable to make a drink in the room other than tap water, including the first night immediately after a 340 mile trip.
