“A slightly quirky hotel in Haupt Strasse, Linz”
We loved this slightly quirky hotel . The small lobby reception is staffed with friendly, knowledgeable young people who speak excellent English, give you excellent advice and lend you an umbrella when it’s raining. When we opened the door we could not believe the space of our loft apartment, with the light pouring in from so many windows, including a circular porthole in the ceiling. On the large wooden floor were a sofa, coffee table, Taking centre place in the middle of the room was a large deep, curtained bath tub with a shower. A distorted cubist lady stared at us knowingly from a portrait on the wall. The separate double bedroom was comfortable with interesting glass painted lighting and a small WC provided for needed privacy. The room could be hot, even with all the windows open. An adequate breakfast was served by various breakfast people. The location is great. It lies in the centre over the Danube bridge to the Haupt Platz - Main Square and next to the Ars-Electronica museum. – a super modern building, multiply lit after dark. Not far away behind the hotel is the Danube river, with walkways, cycle paths, benches and barbeque sites and odd steps structure to sit on belonging to the Ars-Electronica and the New Town Hall is opposite. The Landgraf Hotel & Loft was a great experience and we would recommend it to all our friends and anyone looking for an just a slightly unusual not “plasticky” , comfortable base with lots of space.
“Hotel with personality”
Fabulous hotel in Linz. Would recommend it to anyone. Staff were very helpful with travel assistance & queries re room facilities. Also had a cosy bar/ restaurant which is filled with character & great food. It's one of those hotels that comes as a very pleasant surprise.

very good hotel. room beautiful - we were upgraded to a suite without charge. good position near the danube. 5 minute walk to the old city. only thing to improve is the breakfast.
“Very Chic”
The hotel offered an excellant room which was extremely clean and large and although only rated as a 4 star I've stopped in worst 5 star hotels. The bar down stairs was very freindly and offewred an ideal place to chill in the evening. I would totally recommend this hotel for both it's location and value for money
“Excellent Hotel”
The room we were allocated was very impressive. About 16 metres long by 5 metres wide and very high. In addition to the en-suite bathroom it contained a desk, a coffee table, 4 chairs, a large double bed, and an enclosed balcony, widows on 3 sides enabling a very good view of the Danube. The staff could not have been more helpful. The breakfast was adequate and no more or less than I expected. The hotel shares the ground floor with a stylish bar, which was quiet and relaxed whilst we were there Wed to Sun in early September. It has excellent transport links, with the city centre trams stopping outside the front and one stop away from the Main Square just over the Danube Bridge. I would definitely go back
“Higly recommended”
I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The room was very nice, but what really impressed by were the people working at the reception. I found them very polite and extremely helpful.

The hotel is situated very close to the Linz city center. Rooms are new, clean and comfortable. Hotel employees are very friendly and very helpful (really impressed by this). Moreover the Cafe & Lounge on the ground floor is a really nice place for having a drink. Overall the hotel, provides a warm and friendly atmosphere and i recommend it to anyone visiting Linz either for business or leisure .
“Beautiful Hotel”
Just came back from Linz, I spent 5 nice night at this hotel, very clean, very convenient location, but the most beautiful thing was the Hotel staff, very polite, everywhere, the reception with their great smile all the time, they changed my room right away when i asked for a street view, the kitchen with a nice breakfast and they come to you many times to ask if you need anything else, the cleaning staff cleaned my room while i was on the phone without bothering me, in 5 minutes my room was shining. thank you so much Landgraf hotel, very rare to find a place with all nice polite staff.
“Very nice room”
The room was quite spacious and very comfortable, though there was no air-conditioning. The front desk was very welcoming and helpful. I would certainly recommend this hotel.
