“Loved it”
A friend and I took on the duty of watching 3 kids so their parents could attend a wedding. We booked 2 rooms which were beyond spacious for 3 kids under the age of 6 to run around while us 2 adults could sit in the living area and watch some TV on a generously large flatscreen which included HBO. The AC in our room wasn't as cold as I like, yet our 2ND booked room was an ice box.Wish I'd picked that room. The beds were real comfortable. We called upon the front desk once for extra towels and a crib for a 2year old.they were quick to accommodate. The breakfast as mentioned by others is very basic.fruits, yogurt, toast, bagels a variety of cereals, oatmeal, coffee, milk and juice pretty much sum up your options. The front desk staff is very friendly. The pool was still a bit chilly even being 100 that weekend (no jacuzzi). Over all it was a great stay. And late check out at 1pm was much appreciated. I would recommend this hotel to others and defiantly stay again.
“Very good hotel, but for a leisure trip it was a drive to downtown.”
Accomodations were excellent, very clean and pool was clean.
“Best, most needed vacation ever!”
When I go back to visit Tucson, this is the hotel i would always like to stay at. The only thing that would change my mind would be if the prices went up. The staff was so friendly i felt like i was at home, but also catered to and pampered at the same time.
“Great staff made my stay excellent”
Everyone was so courteous and did everything they could to answer my questions and handle my requests. The free shuttle to anywhere within a 5-mile radius was an unexpected bonus. I mean, curbside service to Walgreens and back?!? Awesome! The rooms are spacious. I was in a double bed room, with a desk, a couch big enough for two people to sleep on (seriously!), plenty of counter space, two sinks and two phones, one of which is cordless. Sure, it's an old model so the handset size made me giggle...but it still is great to walk around the room without being chained to the phone by the bed. I know most people use mobiles today, but the cordless is a nice feature for when someone calls me at the hotel. Some of the food in the lobby was surprisingly good (tomato bisque, garden greens salad), and other stuff wasn't as good (I was disappointed the seasonal greek shrimp salad was mostly romaine lettuce). I don't eat birds or cows, so I can't comment on those dishes. Also, I didn't have any breakfast food, so I can't speak to the quality of that, nor to any sort of morning-time congestion in the lobby. Free Wi-Fi in the rooms is great--FAR better than a lot of Hyatts provide. Also, the free business printing in the lobby was appreciated. The huge TV in the room made me wish I enjoyed watching TV. Again, though, it was really the people here that made my stay. I wish I could pack them up with me and bring them to my next hotel. Each one of them was a treat.
“Great value!”
Very clean, Good coffee.
“Great Hotel”
Close to airport and nicely remodeled rooms. This is also the best smelling hotel I have ever been in. It was like sleeping at a spa. Breakfast was good and quite a step up from the typical continental breakfast of Frosted Flakes and warm orange juice.
“Will consider next time-rate very good for suite”
Room was very nice. Wasn't expecting queen sofa pullout, nice. 42" TV screen really amazing and it had HD,fantastic. Pool was average but with children it was great!
“fantastic technology”
I would have given cleanliness and maintenence a 5 except that our bathroom could have been cleaner and the ice machine was not working on our floor. I loved the self checkin, self food ordering service, and the HD 42 inch flat screen t.v.s I would definately go back.
“Perfect overnight pre vacation week at Canyon Ranch”
If you are traveling from the east coast to stay at Canyon Ranch for vacation, this is the perfect overnight stop to make sure you maximize the value of your vacation. Plan to arrive at Hyatt Place in the evening and you'll be well looked after by the staff. In the morning, after a delicious breakfast, you'll be picked up by CY to enjoy a full day at the spa and its facilities. The two hotels are complimentary and made our break that much better.
“Nice hotel...”
this was a very nice hotel, good continential breakfast in the morning. One caution if you are a light sleeper, quite a few planes take off at 8 am...so if you don't plan to get up that early-stay somewhere else. Everything else was great!
