“Very Nice Spot”
Hotel Neptuno was very clean and the staff was very professional. Rooms are typical European layout; however, Neptuno is perhaps more modern than most (e.g. flat screen TVs and internet hookups in the room). Most of the staff spoke English so communicating was no problem, but speaking a little Spanish wouldn't hurt. Neptuno is located directly on the beach--the beach front is well kept! Public transportation (bus #19) is available for travelers wanting to see Valencia...costs was 1.15 euro. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant other than having room service one night; however, there are plenty of restaurants and pups along the strip next to Neptuno. The only negative regarding our stay was the on-going construction next door in preparation for the upcoming America's Cup. We thoroughly enjoyed are stay and plan to go back for Labor Day. Hope this helps!
“Have already booked a return trip”
Excellent location on the beach, friendly staff, clean comfortable hotel Excellent facilities - no pool but steps from the med
“Beautiful and great location”
We took the metro from the airport to the hotel, and as we got off, it was right in front of us. We checked in with no problems and our room was fine when we went up. There was only one set of bathrobe and slippers in the room, but we called to get more and they were brought up promptly. The free wireless internet was pretty fast as well. The room itself had parquet flooring, which was nice as we did track some sand in from the beach. All was in order, and the sand was always gone when we came back. The best thing about the room was the tub. It was a jetted tub, and felt good after a windy day of walking. The location is wonderful if you are looking for sand, not so much if you want to see all the sights downtown (although those are only a metro or bus ride away as well.) Lots of restaurants along the row of beachside hotels, and a beautiful view of the sunsets from the roof. We used the jacuzzi in the basement and looked into the workout room. The jacuzzi was very large, the workout room fairly basic. The only downside was the restaurant wasn't open very often, other than the bar area, which was somewhat smoky. We did order room service, which was the same menu as the bar had, so fairly basic. All in all, I would definitely stay here again, I think it would be even better in the warmer season.
“Excellent location, excellent staff, great place to stay”
Very nice place to say. Staff are friendly, rooms are comfortable and always immaculately clean, right on the beach. Definately recommend.
“Perfect in every way!”
We have just returned from a mini break at the Neptuno and couldn't be happier, the hotel was fabulous, minimalist yet chic, very clean, room and bathroom was also a good size. Tridente Bar was lovely, service with a smile, great lunchtime snacks and cocktails are to die for albeit a little on the pricy side it is well worth it for the ambience and the view. Location of this hotel cannot be faulted it is right on the beach next to the Valencia Street Circuit (Aug 23rd) so great base for F1 fans! Beach was beautiful and not too busy always plenty of sunbeds. Also the al fresco nightclub opposite was great for chilling out and listening to some cool ibiza classic tunes, it even had day beds to lounge on. Perfect holiday in every way! Am already planning to go back next year.
“Great hotel - easy access to subway/tram and beach”
This is an excellente beach hotel. EASY access to metro/trams for those arriving the the airport orr train station. Rooms were modern and comfortable and in excellent condition. Staff friendly. Perfect location!
“Food, service, location excellent. Would certainly return”
Food, service, location excellent. Would certainly return
“Valencia hotel for the beach but not the best for the city”
Hotel Neptuno was a fabulous hotel - very comfortable with modern, spacious rooms. The hotel had a lovely elevator that incorporated a waterfall and the bedroom was amazing - very modern and comfortable with a flat screen television and an amazing book on all the sights of Valencia and its fascinating history. However, it was quite a distance from the historical attractions of Valencia. If you just want to be on the beach, this is a great hotel. If you want to explore the city, be prepared to drive in (about a ten or fifteen minute drive) and pay for parking (a bit pricey for a full day). Also, if driving into Valencia, the hotel is difficult to find, due to the way the harbor is set up - more signs upon entering the habor would be helpful (once you enter the harbor area it is only a few minutes, so drive slowly and look alert for the beach, a strip of restaurants and the Neptuno. Additionally, if you are not driving into Valencia, this hotel would be difficult to access.
“Perfect for luxury and relaxation.....”
If you want a nice, clean hotel that's good value for money...then book the Neptuno Hotel. The rooms are light, comfortable, spacious and modern (request room 301!). The roof terrace with relaxing, aromatherapy style music and jacuzzi is perfect if you want to chill out on leather sunloungers and have room service just a phone call away! Located on the picturesque Malvarosa beach which stretches for miles there are plenty of bars and restaurants to pick and choose from. If you are wanting to sight-see the stunning City, then a short bus ride from the hotel is all it takes... I would definitely go back - and definitely recommend - for all age groups....
“Outstanding Place!”
Great hotel, ideal location if you want to be near the beach. Not difficult to get to the City of Arts and Sciences and the old city from the beach.
