"It's a great location, close to ocean and Stanley Park. Hotel itself is dated but has charm. I'd guess Canadians appreciate that more than other countries. We managed to walk from hotel and all around the city including Granville Isl without calling on public transport or cab. So it's a recommendation. "

"This is an older hotel that has been lovingly reappointed with modern upgrades in the rooms and very cute and quirky touches throughout the property. There are hanging baskets full of the happiest flower arrangements all over the outside of the building, front and back, and on all floors. I would absolutely come back and stay here again! "
