On winter mornings, breakfast is served in a breakfast room/bar with a marble floor, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lagoon, potted plants, and a Murano glass chandelier. Recreation
The Lido of Venice, a slender, 11.5-km (7.25-miles) island facing the Adriatic Sea that lies a 12-minute waterbus ride east of central Venice, is the city's playground, especially in summer. Year-round, visitors rent bicycles to explore the island, play golf on a course at the island's southern tip 8.5 km (5.25 miles) from the hotel, or take horseback rides.
Much of the Lido's eastern shoreline features public beaches, but there are also many private beaches furnished with cabanas that can be rented by the day from about June 1 to September 1. Cabanas are expensive, often costing as much, or more, than visitors' hotel rooms. For guests staying a minimum of two nights, the hotel offers complimentary use of beach cabanas, umbrellas, and lounge chairs located across the width of the island 600 meters (656 yards) away.
The Venezia Spiagge Beach Resort, 700 yeards away, offers the use of beach facilities including beach facilities with longue chairs and sun umbrellas for a surcharge.
The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the hotel; fees may apply.

“Would definitely stay again!”
The location of this Lido hotel is ideal. It's located across the street from where the ferry docks, and within a short walking distance of many restaurants and shopping. The ferry ride to Venice is relatively short, approx 30 minutes. The hotel breakfast has many selections to choose from. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The view from our room was spectacular, especially the evening sunsets over the water. I would stay in this hotel again in a heartbeat!
“The perfect place to stay”
Situated on the Lido close to the vaporetto stop, the Panorama Hotel is a perfect place to stay to visit the sights of Venice without staying in the hurly burly of Venice proper. Direct access by waterbus from the airport and about 20 minutes or so on vaporetto across lagoon to St Marks. Hotel staff friendly & helpful with a good continental cold breakfast - all in all we would definitely stay here again and recommend others to also.
“Lovely hotel in great location”
The Hotel Panorama certainly lives up to the excellent reviews it's received. Situated in the Lido district of Venice, it's about 15-20 mins (by waterbus) from the much busier areas of St. Mark's Sq and Rialto Bridge. The hotel is beautifully decorated, and the staff were very friendly ad helpful. We had a superior room overlooking the lagoon, and although the room was slightly smaller than i expected, it was very comfortable and the views were stunning. We had dinner at a lovely restaurant within walking distance to the hotel, and there are lots of shops to browse around. All in all a wonderful hotel in a great location to see the best of Venice. Highly recommended.
“I would highly recommend this hotel and the Lido as a place to stay when visiting Venice.”
Such a conveniently located hotel, right next to water bus station. The level of service offered was exceptional and made for a pleasant stay. The beach on the Lido is beautiful and worth a visit. We paid for the Hotel's Private beach and loved it. The Hotel provided beach towels and all the amenities needed are provided when you get to the Beach (Shower, changing room). Our room was a little on the small size however as we spent most of the time sightseeing, you hardly notice as the days pass. You can visit all areas of Venice and surrounding islands from the Lido, by jumping on regular buses with clearly identified routes.
“Great Hotel/Location/Service”
It was a great experience. If you get the room on the main floor, I believe is set up for peolple who are disabled, so no shower box. Also, a little noisy at night with the high heels passing by the room. But, certaily clean, great continental breakfast, great location. My parents were on the second floor and I am sure they had a great stay too.
“Excellent”
The hotel was in a perfect location. Only a short boat ride to san marco. It was nice a quiet which was a pleasant change from the hustle and bustle of venice itself. The hotel staff were pleasant and the room was clean and comfortable. I would stay in this hotel again
“pleasant affordable hotel in convenient location”
Although you do have to hop on a water bus to get into the main part of the city this adds to the enjoyment rather than seeming a nuisance and the hotel is situated directly next to the waterbus stop. Great location if you want access to a beach as well as restuarants at affordable prices. The staff were pleasant and efficient, rooms were well maintained and the buffet breakfast was to a high standard. We would definitely stay here again if returning to Venice. The only criticism we would offer is that the electrical points are dominated by the sky tv system and so charging of mobiles, use of hairdriers etc could be a little challenging.
“Would love to go back”
The hotel was a very pleasant sight after a long days travel. Even after arriving in the early hours of the morning the night staff were friendly and very helpful. We were given enough information to know the dining arrangements for the next morning but not too much in our fatigued state. The staff are the most pleasant helpful people I have come across and I have stayed in quite few hotels. They were forthcoming with advice when asked and the maintance of the rooms and cleanliness of the hotel could not be beaten.
“Convenient, good service and would definitely stay there again”
Very easy to find by waterbus from the airport despite arriving on late evening flight. Staff were superb. The continental breakfast was ample and kept us going thus avoding high price of food and drink in Venice restaurants. Ideal to return to each evening after the hussle and bussle. Lovely hotel.
“Perfect location”
With a brilliant view of Venice from the front of the hotel, this hotel (on the Lido) is an excellent place to stay to explore the area. The hotel is located opposite a water taxi stop and so it is very easy to access Venice itself (only 10mins). There are plenty of restaurants in the vicinty and it is nice to stay here to be out of the hustle and the crowds of Venice. The rooms are clean, well furnished and good value for money. The hotel staff are friendly and willing to help when required. In short, this hotel is perfect to visit Venice from and good value in a city where prices are high.
