"A quick overnight stay while passing through Apollo Bay. On arrival, there was none in reception. A phone number is displayed on the key return box to "call for help." The gentleman who answered was friendly, helpful and assisted with 'check in' questions. Once we made our way upstairs we found the room easily. It was clean, comfortable and simple. "We stayed at the Stables cottage in Clarendon Cottages. I have been staying at the Dandenong Ranges for 20 years but I was extremely impressed with this place. Visually just gorgeous - attention to detail - and every effort made for a comfortable stay. The Stables is a twin bedroom cottage - with beautiful kitchen and bathroom. Our night included breakfast and our own private garden, cupboard with toys and games and even a decanter of port with glasses!! Just wow!! I will not hesitate to rebook...

"Lovely location, waking up and going to sleep to the sound of the waves and trees will be missed. Very quiet and great attentive service with breakfast and any concerns or ideas of where to go with kids when weather is not great, even able to charge my EV. Room has a cute electric heater that looks like a fireplace, fridge, spa, glasses, mugs, plates for small meals, night light in bathroom and parking space next to the room. Lovely family feel with pictures of family around the place...
