“A modern hotel in a beautiful forrest”
This was my 2nd time at the Dolce La Hulpe and I must say that the hotel is absolutely fantastic. It is in the middle of a beautiful forrest, it has very modern rooms and facilities...If you want a place to relax then this is the one. The hotel is simply fantastic...I will be very surprised if there is a person who would not like this place ! I will definately go back in April 2009. The restaurant is a bit expensive, but what you pay is what you get...pay peanuts and you get monkeys...pay the top price and get quality...
“A place to relax”
For People who want to visit Brussels, the Dolce hotel in La Hulp is a bit far from Brussels (about 20 km), but in my opinion the location is worth the travel between La Hulp and Brussels. I recommend renting a car, in which case since the hotel provides plenty of parking spaces (free of charge of course) you only had to deal with the "parking issue" in Brussels (which is not bad, contrary to what I had heard). It takes about 20 minutes from the center of Brussels to the hotel by car, if you know your way. The hotel is located at a lovely spot: quite, pleasant and interestingly cooler than Brussels in mid August which was nice. The staffs are considerate, friendly, and helpful. Rooms are clean and well equipped. The hotel is a place where one can rewind and relax, due to its location and facilities. Spa, pool, and Hammam are great, but what really caught my attention was the exercise room. For a person who knows how to conduct an effective workout, the exercise room is just a smidgen shy of a gym; definitely not an ordinary hotel exercise room. All in all, it is a great hotel, where I can surely go back to when I am in Brussels.
“Fantastic location with very helpul staff, will be returning”
A fantastic Hotel in a lovely location. All Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. This trip was on Business, however I shall return for Leisure and I shall recommend this hotel to my business colleagues and customers.
“Very nice rural Brussels location”
Very nice convention property on the southeast side of Brussels.
“Definitely going back”
While this hotel does cater more towards the business traveler, the hotel was in a perfect location for our vacation. This modern hotel is surrounded by hundreds of trees...beautiful! There were even trails for hiking. The rooms were a bit small, but this is normal for European hotels. We absolutely loved the indoor swimming pool and both the dry and wet saunas!
“A Wonderful Hotel !!!”
We stayed at the Dolce La Hulpe for 3 nights and we were absolutely amazed with the location of the hotel, the facilities and rooms. It is a great place for relaxation as it is hidden away from main roads and is built in the middle of a forest. We can't wait to go back !!! Well done Dolce...
“Very Nice!!”
Very comfortable and very modern hotel. 30 mins. from Brussels city centre by car. BEWARE - Brussels traffic is manic and aggressive! This place used to be IBM's European training centre and is plush. RECOMMENDED
“Great place!”
This hotel really exceeded my expectations. The pool and spa were wonderful, but our favorite part of the trip was hiking the trails around the hotel. It is also such a quick drive to Waterloo or into Brussels to see the sites. The internet worked well, and we loved the design of the lobby. The food was also good at the restaurant, but it is pricey (like almost all restaurants in Europe). We would love to go back.
“Great hotel at east of Brussels in quite and nice location.”

“Beautiful hotel, beautiful surroundings, good value.”
Dolce La Hulpe Brussels is a rather new hotel located just off the Rng road ("0") around Brussels, about 20 minutes from the Brussels National Airport at Zaventem. It's in a beautiful rural setting in the equivalent of a national forest. There are walking and horse trails all around, and the sounds of wild birds are amazing. The low rise hotel exterior is rather blocky and drab. But inside it shines. The common areas feature dramatic contemporary design with lots of natural light. The rooms have a good amount of space and are comfortable. The bathrooms have a deep tub, separate shower, and a contermporary design. The staff were friendly and quite helpful. Check in is 3PM, but they were the only hotel I found that offered very early checkin (9:00am). This can be arranged in advance and at a resaonable cost. If you are flying in from the USA, its great to drive to the hotel from the airport, check in, and grab a 3 or 4 hour nap. You can also reserve a 12 noon checkin for a smaller cost. The road signs on the Ring road can be a bit confusing. Sometimes they are in French, other times in Flemish. So watch for "Terhulpe" as well as "La Hulpe" when you are looking for your exit from the ring road. if you find yourself in Waterloo, reverse direction on the Ring road an take the next big exit (There is a large overpass at this exit).
