“Beautiful view”
The place is stunning. We had a great view from the living room and off the balcony. The kids enjoyed the grounds - they spent a lot of time in the rowboats and liked the nightly campfire where they could make smores. I enjoyed the full kitchen and having a washer and dryer in the unit. Just FYI - this is a condo, so there's no maid service, which didn't bother me. I'd definitely stay here again.
“YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!”
My wife, two sons (7 and 8) and my nephew (14) arrived in the evening of 3/11/11 to Nordic Village and check-in was swift and precise. The staff were very polite, organized and informative. The staff and lobby area had all the information you may need to enjoy your stay in the area as well as right at Nordic Village. We were directed to our 2 bedroom sweet which was perfect for the five of us, beautiful to say the least. Two twin beds, full bath, full kitchen, washer and dryer, living room, dining room with fireplace, spiral staircase to master bed and bath with shower, 2 person jacuzzi tub and great view of the mountains. We unpacked and went to the pools, yes pool(s), 1indoor with jacuzzi, steam room, bath and showers and 1outdoor(heated)and jucuzzi.....wow...swimming under the stars in the winter! The game did lack quite a bit but at least the kids played a few dated arcade games, pool, ping pong, airhockey, foosball. Be sure to remember that everything closes early in the white mntns, restaraunts etc so dont think you can get a pizza past 10pm!! Kringles convenience store is just a 1/4mile down the hill and had all you would need and is open til 10pm most nights (pizza, deli, beer, snacks, fireworks, camaras, detergent, basically everything) and they are open early early so you can get your morning fix. Tix to skiing and attractions in the area can be arranged at the front desk at a discount which is convenient. Overall what a great getaway for the family!!
“Just what we were looking for”
Our recent 2 night stay at the Nordic Village in Jackson, NH was just what we were looking for. I read some negative reviews before our stay (related to unfriendly staff and lack of cleanliness for example) and I completely disagree with them. If you're looking for posh decor and ultra modern appliances/fixtures in the kitchens and bathrooms - you may be disappointed. However, if you need a clean, comfortable place to relax with a great view after a day of skiing, you'll like it here. Also, the price was very reasonable.
“Very impressed can't wait to go back”
Everybody was very helpful. The view from the room was magnificent. The pool with the jacuzzi was great. We had a great time at the Bonfire Friday night. I would recommend it to everybody.
“Great family stay near Storyland”
The Nordic Village Resort is a little different than a regular hotel because it is a condo. They keep the facilities clean, there are 3 pools; one indoor and two outdoor. One of the outdoor pools has a maximum of 3.5 feet which is perfect for our five year old and that pool is heated and open year round. The place is right around the corner from Storyland so we had no problem being the first ones there. This is the only place we stay because we have a 7 year old and 5 year old, and since it has a kitchen, we can eat breakfast and dinner at the condo if we choose. Plus they have outdoor activities like movie night, a fire pit and pony rides. The grounds are beautiful and the kids can play outside or use the little playground if they feel like it. It is a nice family place and would be a great stay during ski season as well.
“Great for Families”
This was the second time we have stayed at LMG Nordic Village. Both times we had a great time. Condo was very comfortable for our family of 5 (including baby), clean, kids love the pool, we love the hottub. Nearby Jackson is a beautiful small town surrounded by the White Mtns. Staff were helpful. Santa's Village and Storyland are a short ride away.
“Fantastic”
Went up there win my wife and 8 month old daughter. Wasn't sure what to expect but the Inn was awesome. The rooms are pretty much condos which was perfect! The view out of our deck slider was breathtaking! We were in Lillehammer and loved it...already looking at booking a winter trip in a few months! The rooms were dated but very clean, it added to the rustic feel of being up on the mountains...we really loved it!
“Can't wait to go back”
Overall value of Nordic Village was terric. Accomodations were perfect- roomy and clean. Lot's to do in the resort and in the area. We will definitely be back.
“Great view”
I was looking for a place for a romantic getaway with kids in tow. The two-bedroom condo was perfect for this and the jetted tub was an added bonus. What I hadn't planned for, but what was quite pleased to get were outstandstanding views of the surrounding mountains. My daughters loved the nightly entertainment and the on-site pools. We even saw a huge black bear on the property which added to the adventure.
“enjoyed our stay”
great place for kids, lots to do in close proximity to attractions. clean and safe
