Spacious room & toilet, convenient, 15 mins walk to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. Good concierge service, thank you Xiaolin for helping to accept my parcels before my arrival. From the moment we arrived till departed, all staffs we encountered are very helpful & friendly. Highly recommended.

Everything was nice in this hotel. Hotel staffs are all very helpful and friendly. Room was already ready for check in before we arrived. Within walking distance to shopping area.

there are some noise when sleeping because metro station are constructed in outside of the hotel. but the hotel condition is Good ,and the staff are very nice.

Good hotel. I didn't have breakfast or food there but it seemed to be pretty decent. Everything else was good. Staff spoke reasonable English. Would stay again if the price was right.

Hotel that is almost home
The room is comfortable and cheap compared to other hotels nearby. The hotel reception has a good ambiance that makes every customer welcome and at home. I enjoyed here that I spent a lot of my stay here rather than exploring xiamen.

Perfect location, clean, modern, english speaking
Great location. Pedestrian street just a short stroll away. I can't imagine a better location to stay in Xiamen. Many of the staff spoke some english. Never had trouble communicating. Had some issues with getting some printing done in the business center, but they were doing their best. The prices there are outrageous, but they usually are in business centers in China. (US$1.50 per printed page). I had 80 pages to print. That would have been almost double what I payed for one night there. After some persistent bargaining I got a discount US$0.50. In the U.S. business centers they don't even charge haha! Taxis were easy to get and staff explained well to the drivers exactly where to take me. The room itself was super comfy and clean and modern. By the way I had a no window room and thought it was a great room! Anyway you wouldn't see much of the view through the smog if you have a window haha! I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else next time. Perfect spot. By the way Starbucks is a block away...bonus points!

Would not recommend. Worst part of this room was there was not a window. Not expecting seaside views or anything of that sort. Rooms didn't have international adapters for laptops. Especially as this is a 4 star and would assume have many business travelers from overseas. Wifi & Ethernet cable was shockingly slow. Room service was good.

Don't select room with no windows
The hotel is nice and clean with good service, many English speaking clerks. I didn't think that taking the room with no windows would be a problem, but it turns out that also means it has no closets either. A very small room with a bed and a nice bath. Otherwise great

They provide a no-window room. Do not choose the lowest-price room in this hotel. They removed basic service from this price tag -- for example, free breakfast, no-window room.

Checked in late at night and was treated to a complimentary upgrade from my windowless room into a windowed room. The hotel does not have anything of note immediately surrounding it, but the ferry to Gulangyu and other waterfront attractions are walkable. All in all, was a decent home base to explore Xiamen.

Great Location, Reasonable Price
Hotel is conveniently located near pedestrian shops, restaurants and shopping mall. Ferries to Gu Lang Yu Island is also within walking distance. Hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. Good hotel to stay.

Great Location
I was hesitant at first for booking this hotel that's quite far from the city centre, but I am glad I did. Not only is it accessible to the gulangyu islands, but it's located a few minutes away from Zhongshan Lu, a picturesque pedestrian street filled with great street food. The narrow alleys reminded me a little of the night markets in Hong Kong. You will not be disappointed. The staff at Tegoo hotel was very helpful. Told us ways to get to the more popular tourist sights via public transportation rather than defaulting to taking a cab. And public buses cost just 1 RMB (or about 16 cents USD). And they allow you a more intimate feel for local life. I highly recommend the Tegoo hotel for any stay in Xiamen. You will not be disappointed.

Great Location!
At first we were hesitant about booking this hotel as it is quite far from the city center, but to our surprise, the area is quite active. It's within walking distant to Zhongshan Lu (Pedestrian Road), a great place for street food. Blocks upon blocks of food stands that many locals frequent. It was perhaps the highlight of our trip. Tegoo Hotel is definitely a boutique hotel with its own flavor. Hallways are purple with flower drawings. Rooms are quite cozy with bathrooms that are enclosed in glass. Quite romantic for couples but a bit odd for others. There is a curtain for those that want privacy but its hung from the outside, meaning that you have to pull the curtain over first before you do your business. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its own unique character as well as being in an awesome location. I did consider hotels that were closer to the city center but the area surrounding them reminded me of any typical Chinese city. So if you are looking for some thing with flavor, consider the Tegoo Hotel.

excellent choice
I enjoyed my stay at the Tegoo hotel. I booked it on hotels.com and because i got such a great rate, they gave me a room without a window and did not include breakfast. I was disappointed in the no window thing, but it did make for a nice dark room to sleep in. The room was very nice and the service excellent. I'm an english speaker as you no doubt deduced and found that the staff generally could understand me and if not themselves, were able to find someone who did. The hotel is in a nice neighborhood close to excellent shopping and tourist sights. It has a business center and a restaurant. I did not eat at the hotel so I cannot comment on the food. I did find excellent food in the city however. I would stay here again, but would probably get a room with a window.

Value for Money! Tegoo Hotel Xiamen
The hotel has a very nice lobby, interior decorations, and lift design. The rooms are big, and comfortable. Everything in this hotel is almost perfect, except for the very limited English TV channels they have, and the limited English that their staff can speak. Value for money is exceptional.

Perfect choice
From airport, we took an airport bus for 10rmb/pax which dropped us off right in front of the hotel. Tegoo is 10 min away from the ferry terminal which can take you to gulangyu island for 8rmb round trip. it's also 10 min away from Zhongshanlu where you can buy all kinds of stuff in its street shopping vehicular traffic free. Tegoo offers free local phone calls as well as free cellphone calls to local residents. its restaurant offers 15% discount to house guests and free of service charge. it serves whole seabass, lamb chop, congee and noodle, crabs, shrimps, scallops, salmon, fruit shakes, and 6 flavored ice cream with durian and jackfruit flavors, can't beat that!!

Tegoo hotel is about 10 minute walk to the ferry terminal going to Gulangyu island, also 10 min walk to Zhongshanlu street shopping with both branded and night market clothings and wears. once arrived at the airport, just take airport bus outside the arrival area, 10rmb/pax, it will drop you off right in front of Tegoo hotel, sweet. Tegoo was built 2011, a fairly new hotel and lovely staff (although most staff has limited english). All rooms are equipped with WIFI and beds with 1 inch memory foam. What amazes me is the hotel offers free local phone calls as well as cell phone calls to locals. Its restaurant offers 15% discount to house guests with no service charge totaling almost 30% discount. Can't beat that. The dinner buffet we had was 185rmb net/pax, it had lamb chops, seabass, salmon, sashimi, grilled meat, congee, noodles, free fruit shakes, and 6 flavored ice cream including durian, woooow! You can't go wrong with this hotel. The front desk manager, Lionel Dai, was simply generous and customer service committed. Way to go, Lionel!

not worth it !
i booked 3 nights city view room n the front desk staff helped to give us 23rd floor from the original 15th when i mentioned the all day construction work next to the hotel creates a lot of noise. the room smells ok but i was abhored to find urine stains on the toilet seat ! n the glass shelf above the pantry was covered with dust. apparently the cleaners not doing a good job here. the towels are clean though. free bottled water, beer n softdrinks in the fridge. location is ok. within 15 min walk to Zhongshan st. n the Gulangyu ferry pier. concierge guy not friendly at all but the security officer helped to carry our suitcase down the steps to the street on the day we left. overall not worth the price.

Did not cleaned well with the restroom. The city subway is under constructed and the hotel is just next to it. It makes a lot of noise even in the midnight, and so annoying. The worst part is that the check in counter man did not inform me , also it did not show any relevant notification on its website.it makes me feel like I was cheated.

デラックスルーム非常に良かった
ただホテルの部屋内のドアが壊れるトラブル及び、エントランス前が工事中でやや不便はあった。中山路に比較的近くロケーションは良い。
