I'm sure this isn't the norm, but we arrived in the city several hours before check-in time and the front desk clerk sent us right up to our room, and there was no additional charge when we checked out. For a New York hotel, the room was a good size. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. Everything was clean and we got a very reasonable rate through Expedia.
