"So the room I was in had a broken heater that made an obnoxious noise when it was on leaving me to turn it off. No extra blankets in the room. The room also had what looked like a roach trap in the corner by the desk…there was also a bad odor in the hallway. Experience itself wasn’t bad the front end desk attendants were nice and had a sense of humor and helpful with my travel questions. "

"Black Bear Inn is very inviting and comfortable. Our room was small but adequate; we spent most of our time outside. The breakfasts were top notch and huge. We enjoyed the common house areas playing games and talking with the other guests. The hot tub and decks added to our outdoor enjoyment. We will definitely return. "

"Very large hot springs resort that is very busy and commercial. Gorgeous setting. Restaurant had nice ambiance, good menu, and great staff. Basically it’s a lot of hot swimming pools. We even went on an off peak day and it felt overcrowded. It has its place in the hot springs world, but it lacks any sort of tranquility or calm that some of the more simple, natural, and humble properties have. "Room with Mountain View was great. Room was very spacious and clean. The facility and activities were average. Comparing with other resorts like the Gaylord I would much rather stay at Gaylord. I like that we got to stay here and have the experience but don’t think I would come back again."
