"Room had an odd smell, very unwelcoming. Not many amenities which is surprising for a Wyndham hotel. The walls are paper thin, could hear every word being said at the frat party next door. The bed doesn't have much in the way of blankets; the brown pullover in the pictures is fake, like a homefill for a bed. I almost laughed. The bed itself is somewhat flat, not super comfortable. "I booked a studio suite at the Radisson Wall Street. I chose this hotel because it is located near the Staten Island Ferry and wanted to walk there the next morning at 5:00 am to take the ferry to the NYC Marathon. When I arrived at the Radisson the front desk told me that my booking was transferred to the Holiday Inn Lower East Side approximately 5 trains stops away. "On my solo 3 night stay I felt very safe and had no problem walking everywhere from the Kixby. The room was small but comfortable. The keurig, small fridge and safe along with walk in shower were definite bonuses. However the aircondition unit was very noisy so I unplugged it. I alerted the front desk after the first night and was told they would send a repair person to my room. I returned to it plugged in again and still noisy.
