"It was my first experience in a hostel and it was awesome, place was very affordable, clean and surprisingly quiet at night thus had no issues sleeping. I’d definitely go back to this location and want to check out their other locations in Central America. "

Great staff, quaint pool area with lush vegetation and a sense of isolation and privacy, great music, vibrant night life, grocery/liquor/food one block away, awesome beach 2 blocks away. "I enjoyed my stay at this hostel. I was very lucky to find it when I did. Literally have people waiting to book this spot. Very chill and laid back. Management was nice and helpful. They even provided us with food one night! The beds are a little tight because they are a three bunk instead of two so don’t sit up too fast when you wake or you will hit your head;)"

"I was pleasantly surprised staying in the crates. I have never stayed in a hostel but knew those participar rooms would be a similar experience as staying in one. I think I read on their page they described it as the “anti hostel.” The staff was nice and the simple breakfast included was a nice bonus. It is a popular bar at night so there will be some noise if you go to bed early but the crate rooms I stayed in wasn’t over the bar and they clear out the courtyard after a certain time so it’s not...

"Pros: 4 minute walk to the beach, easy access to public transportation, bus stop is literally outside. Staff is very friendly and accommodating, downstairs restaurant is very convenient. Cons: Room has an unpleasant damp smell, bathroom is very small, the sink was too small to use without making a mess. The building could really use some upgrades. But overall a nice stay."
