"Here you get a small cheap room with not much nearby. Couldn’t find a beer at night. The small room was clean and the staff were nice. There’s no lift/elevator so if you’re on the 2nd floor or higher it’s just up and down the stairs. No phone in the room so every time you have a question for the front desk you have to go down the 2 or 3 flights of stairs. I was just there 1 night so it wasn’t much of a problem. Not sure what else is available in Lahad Datu."

The hotel is above a mall, but the elevator requires no key to access the hotel levels, so not very secure. Air con is not efficient and extremely noisey. Bed was horrible, towels and sheets not clean. Cracks in wall paper and bathroom in terrible condition. "Much better area of Lahad Datu, compared to town closer to airport. Lots of small shops and a good supermarket below hotel. Area feels relatively safe and we enjoyed the Night Market for dinner (although we were very much a spectacle for locals who are not used to tourists). Hotel itself is reasonably modern, good size bathroom and shower. Beds were OK for comfort and air con worked OK. Good accommodation for Lahad Datu

"Much better area of Lahad Datu, compared to town closer to airport. Lots of small shops and a good supermarket below hotel. Area feels relatively safe and we enjoyed the Night Market for dinner (although we were very much a spectacle for locals who are not used to tourists). Hotel itself is reasonably modern, good size bathroom and shower. Beds were OK for comfort and air con worked OK. There is a lot of noise from the streets and shops around, especially on the nights of the night markets until around 10 or 11pm. "

Unsafe and run down. Not recommended.

Bed was horrible, towels and sheets not clean. Cracks in wall paper and bathroom in terrible condition. Staff didnt speak much english, so check in was difficult and gave no information about room, hotel or area. It may be cheap, but you can do a lot better for similar money. Recommend looking elsewhere in the newer area of Lahad Datu (My Inn)"
