"Clean,comfortable room with exceptional service. Enjoyed the free shuttle service offered to Universal Studios. Metro to downtown and grocery store to stock up fridge are a short (15-20 min) walk away. Microwave is available on request for small fee. Breakfast was a quick phone call and pickup(can be delivered for a fee). Would recommend and stay again. "

"In the heart of Hollywood and Walk of the Stars, yet views of Hollywood Sign, Hollywood Hill and over LA. The hotel is safe, staff are nice and approachable. I took my kids and they loved the free snack they provided. They now want me to take them again. Probably one of the nicest hotels in this area."

"The hotel is very historic yet cool. We were "upgraded" to a room off the pool area. The hallway and room felt like we were in a dungeon. Room lighting is poor and you can't even read next to your bed. Staff was great. "

"I booked a private room with a private bathroom. There was plenty of living space but the bathroom was pretty small. The shower, sink, and toilet were all a tight squeeze. Walls were thin and there was an unpleasant pre-type smell upon entry. I loved the character of an older building. Common spaces were simple and cute and I liked the well-groomed courtyard. Location was fantastic and parking was a huge plus. Service was friendly and professional. I felt safe here. "

"Lovely spot in the heart of Hollywood. Nice comfy bed and xlnt bathroom. Only thing I would like to add is there was no seating in the room. Just an office chair. When friend came by had to sit on the bed. Would have been nice to have complimentary water in the room. Lobby facilities very nice with complimentary coffee in the AM plus water."
