"This is a great family-friendly motel! The retro vibe is fun, and there's plenty to do both at the motel and in Bar Harbor. The only detraction for us was breakfast. The coffee is dispensed from a machine. While the selection of food was good, the fruit was still frozen and the pancakes had to be heated in the microwave. That said, we would happily stay there again and simply eat breakfast in town!"

I also like that there was a restaurant to have dinner at with great options and good food. I made a mistake and had 2 different bookings. I liked the main hotel and room and would stay there again. "Very convenient location in Bar Harbor close to all the Acadia attractions. Easy parking. Clean and large rooms with the balconies facing east to see the bay and sunrise. Surprisingly low-tech with a room key instead of an electronic key. Not too big of a deal. The reception desk was not very welcoming. We walked around and had to ask if it was reception. The person at the desk wasn't very friendly at all and answered questions in a rather abrupt way."
