"Lovely spot near the Bay. Served cookies in the evening. Good breakfast variety. They did charge $18.00 for parking which wasn't mentioned in their pricing description on Expedia. "

"Area very nice Vagrants on property inside hotel and outside on property..It still felt 100 percent safe at all times day or night and many places to eat nearby and movie theatre nearby that looks very nice on the inside..No worries about those people on property..Really.."

"I think for the area it’s very beautiful and worth the price. I must admit the area it’s around isn’t the best but once you pass the bridge it’s really nice. Staff was nice at check in and make your stay comfortable. Rooms looked clean and new. I only stayed for the night as a emergency but I would stay there if I planned on going to Oakland again. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch with a couple of different snacks and food. Not too big but enough to enjoy. We had breakfast outside looking at the lovely view of water, looking towards at the city of Alameda. The only think I wasn’t so please was $17 for parking. Other hotels if they do charge (because most don’t) will charge about 5$ or 10$ max. Other than that, it was a great stay."
