Did not feel safe. (More below).
The front desk agent, an older woman whose name I can’t remember was very nice. The room looked like the pictures and was stylish.
The bath towel was laundered but it clearly had been bleached to clean a previous stain which was still obvious. The towel also had a hair entwined in the threads.
My main complaint is that shortly after checking in (about 8pm) men outside started aggressively and continuous pounding on different doors of the hotel. They spoke in another language so I couldn’t understand but my impression was they were looking for someone who didn’t want to be found by them. They went to different doors, shaking the building with their pounding until they ended up at the room next to mine. I didn’t know if they’d start pounding on my door next. I did not feel safe to leave my room. The room had no phone to call the front desk with so I tried calling several times from my cell phone but no one answered (even though the front desk should have still been open) and there was no option to leave a message - just rang endlessly. Eventually I put in noise cancelling headphones and went to sleep. I woke up at 4am when the men returned and continued pounding on the door.
When I went to leave in the morning at 8:11am the front office was still closed even though it was supposed to open at 8am.
I would not stay here again and do not recommend it. Did not feel safe.
