"Loved the small extra touches they give like daily cookies, lemon water, coffee, and even had a popcorn machine one night! Plus the rubber ducks are so cute. Room was huge and super clean. Walkable to union square, Trader Joes, Chinatown, all less than 15 mins away. Only thing is no AC but that’s on the listing. Room got a little humid. "

The staff at Hotel G are the most friendly, personable staff I have ever encountered at any San Francisco hotel ever, and I have stayed in at least a dozen. It’s a nice hotel without being too swanky, and without being too unreasonably priced. "The rooms were clean and relatively spacious. I stayed in a four bed, woman only dorm and the bathroom space was shared amongst us. It was pretty clean. The bunks could be improved with some privacy shades. The kitchen space is quiet small so you are competing for space at peak use times. The general area is pretty unsafe though, I was taking public transport at the start until some person tried to mug me in broad daylight on a busy street. I had to get rideshare from that point. "
