This hotel is central to everywhere we want to go in SF! Plus, we feel safe in this neighbourhood. We love the atmosphere at Union Square, and BART is close by for our trips out to the suburbs. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Our room was nice and clean, and our room requests were met 100%. We have stayed at the Handlery many times over the years, and will stay here again! The hotel was in the middle of the downtown which is nice. Hotel was a bit old, but for the price and location were reasonable, the only thing is the blanket was a little thin and the room were cold, our heater in the room didn’t work, so we had to ask for another blanket which was a lot better. All the stuff were really nice and helpful. We would stay again.

Hotel was very good on several occasions I had a lge room with an outside deck Although I enjoyed the room. The Tv was outdated Reception lousy. Definitely needs an upgrade Pool was closed for repairs but looked good
