“Best Bed Ever”
Great bed, very comfortable and welcome after a 10+ hour flight. Staff helpful and spoke excellent English as well as German and French.

We would recommend this hotel - friendly helpful staff, good location and parking on site at reasonable cost, great facilities. (We didnt eat here so cant comment on that)

Absolute gem of a hotel. Easy parking, welcoming reception, superb rooms and outstanding beauty and spa room. Highly recommended from a frequent European traveller.
“Great hotel, hospitible staff”
Hotel Quellenhof was everything we hoped for, it was extremely clean, the rooms were well proportioned, and the staff was helpful and kind. What a great place to relax, only a half mile or so from the center of town.
“Outstanding hotel!”
This was possibly the best hotel that we have ever stayed in. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were both clean and spacious and the breakfasts were superb. The spa facilities were also amazing.
“Fantastic”
We went to this hotel to treat ourselves on the last night of a 3 week tour round Europe. We weren't disappointed. Lovely staff, fantastic room, great club sarnies in the Elephant bar, which they made especially for vegetarians, and we spent a while chilling out in the amazing spa.

“Shame about the room”
The hotel staff were welcoming and the downstairs lobby, bar, swimming pool and spa (naked sauna and steam rooms) were immacculate. The fitness centre was, in my opinion, very small and lacked any weights (free or machine). The bedroom was not decorated to the standard I would expect in a 5* hotel and in need of tlc; the wallpaper was peeling, there were marks on the walls, the furniture was unco-ordinated, the sink was cracked and the tv was old! Whilst the room didn't convey the 5*'s that the hotel holds the bar prices did at 9 Euro's for a Gordon's & Tonic. On the plus side I did feel very pampered in the Spa and hotel public areas and would consider using the hotel's facilities in the future (although I might upgrade to a better room). Also having walked past some of the other hotels in Aachen we were very pleased with it's location and closeness to the Carolus Thermun (10 minutes away through a beautiful park).
“Very plush”
The hotel was very impressive and to the highest of standards I would highly recommend it. We could not get any parking as the hotel car park was full and had to pay 10 euro to park nearby. I guess if staying longer this would be an issue. Also breakfast at 22 euro was too much for me, a walk to a local backerei, cost 5 euro. We went to the Christmas market in Aachen. this hotel was a great base. (the Christmas market was tacky and very crowded, the shops were tastefully decorated and it would be nicer without the market bah humbug!)
“Spacious, but a bit creaky”
This hotel boast a five-star rating, which it would probably deserve with more care and attention to maintenance. My room was huge, but the shower door didn't fit properly (floods!) nor did the sink plug (keep water running while trying to wash). The TV was too small for the room, and the aircon was noisy and not very effective. Would normally change rooms, but only needed it to sleep, so didn't bother. Bed comfy.
