Property Amenities
Outdoor cafés, sea-view restaurants, a disco, and a tourist-information office ring Carvoeiro's plaza just outside the hotel's entrance. Streets packed with dining spots, clubs, and shops radiate from the plaza through the town. The plaza also serves as the resting place for the multi-colored boats fishermen use to take visitors on excursions along the coast to view caves and rock formations carved in cliffs by the ocean. A coin-operated kiosk in the lobby offers high-speed Internet access.
Rooms
The hotel offers 54 air-conditioned guestrooms in a 4-story, blue-and-white building. Decor features white walls and ceiling, terra-cotta tile floors, light-colored furniture with green wicker insets, prints of local scenes on walls, and brightly colored bedspreads. Rooms include direct-dial phones, safes, and TVs with satellite channels. Bathrooms contain pink marble floors. Electrical kettles heat water for instant coffee and tea.

All guests have the option of a complimentary American/English buffet breakfast served each morning in Jardin do Sol restaurant during the winter and in a central courtyard during the summer.

“Exactly as Advertised”
Right in the centre of everything in this small tourist enclave.
“Great though a little tired.”
Hotel looking a little tired on the outside and around the pool though rooms were very spacious, very clean and well equipped. The restaurant was impressive and served a varied and extensive breakfast choice. Although we were only bed and breakfast, the lunch and dinner menu looked to have lots of choice and was reasonably priced. Located in the main square and overlooking the coved beach we would recommend this hotel.

Excellent position,great service, can't wait to return. Would recommended to anyone. Towels changed everyday, free aircon, 15 euros/refunded for safe, tea/coffee making facilities in room Fantastic!

I thoroughly recommend this hotel. It is cheap, extremely clean, and the staff very polite and helpful. Best of all it is right next to the beach.

hotel had great location right on the square of Carveiro very clean,good breakfast, would certainly use again, not luxurious but got our moneys worth. Would benefit from a mini bar but that was only complaint
“A very relaxing hotel”
Although on the plaza, and busy road junction, very little noise. Lovely to have evening entertainment in Plaza that you can enjoy from your balcony with a bottle of wine. No noise at night with a/c on and doors shut. Staff very helpful. One gripe -swimming pool area needs revamping - could get more sunbeds if they moved flower border to different location. Breakfast ample. Reception staff extremely helpful. No facilities to shower and change for late departure pick-up. Swimming pool shower area not up to it. Managed though in reception toilets!
“very pleasant hotel”
should not be listed as 4* but a good 3* - however, most hotels in Europe have fridges even in 3* and I had to order one, which was not a problem but not usual - location great, staff excellent but in need of a refurb both hotel and rooms, but would go back!
“A relaxing place in the sun”
Hotel located on the square, tucked into a gorgeous cove with a beautiful sandy beach and a view of the jumble of houses, condos, and restaurants that clamber up the surrounding hillsides. Limited beach type meter parking throughout the day but free at night. Other parking available if you get up early enough. This place was busy enough during the early part of May with a few tour buses but it must be horrendous in the summer. We had our choice of numerous restaurants for drinks, snacks and dinner. Food generally very good with a lot of fish as you might expect and good selection of wines from all over Portugal at good prices. Ours was a very relaxing stay with a room overlooking the square and what would normally be a very good view of the beach. As it was, a construction fence in the middle of the square shielded the workmen installing updates to their sewer/water system and somewhat impeded our view of the beach itself. But it was not a serious problem and the work looked to be complete before too long. This place is very popular and I would add my recommendation.
